"Brad came out to service the pump in the basement of the house I rent, he was very helpful. Was willing to explain what was going on with it. Also even after running into some hiccups from other problems within the house he was still willing to help with solutions to get everything working again."

"Pump was checked and rubber sleeve maintenanced. Moreover, with moisture ratings excessively high, had a dehumidifier installed and as Logan had noted, the basement is now completely dry! Fantastic results - I appreciate Logan's insight and guidance on how to arrest the moisture challenges I have dealt with. He provided some great suggestions for long-term solutions. He was very thorough and explained all of the steps during the maintenance visit."

"Mr. Garcia was very professional and did outstanding work on my aggregate driveway and front steps. I was told by several other concrete experts that repairing an aggregate driveway was very challenging but Garcia Concrete did it well. The front brick steps were exceptional. Also he responded promptly when I texted him."

"I had a lintel above a garage door that had sagged, causing cracks in the brick mortar. These guys are awesome. Jacked it up, used lag bolts to secure it, and re-tucked the mortar. Richard Jones was the foreman, and he was incredibly patient answering all my questions and showing/explaining me the work as he did it. Just completely pleased all the way around."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Mudjacking is your best bet for leveling concrete on a tighter budget. It’s less expensive than foam or grout mixture. For smaller, surface-level issues, you could also use a self-leveling compound, which creates an even surface over existing concrete—it’s a budget-friendly option suitable for DIY enthusiasts.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.
