My father and uncle created this as a painting and wood working business 13 years ago. They have since decided to pass it down to us. We are commuted to maintaining their quality of work in painting, while also adding a few additional services. We are dedicated to assisting our community, and giving people a trustworthy business to turn to for all their home needs.

License# TN 42207 & VA 2705-042222. [email protected] licensed and insured. We are a Christian based, family owned business. We have been in business for 19 years in the Tri-City Area. We offer all types of fencing and specialize in custom wood and vinyl. We can rout all our vinyl on premises and can contour to any land variation. Making the fence not only attractive but secure going all the way to the ground. We offer warranties on all fences and workmanship. Satisfaction is our goal. We pride ourselves in our repeated customers. Additional email - [email protected]. Owned & operated.

"BEWARE! Entire fence installed 2 years ago for $6000. After Helene damage, they want over $13,000 to fix one side. They admit that they are purposely price gouging because the insurance companies and FEMA are "giving out all kinds of money". My insurance is part of the National Flood Insurance program (only covers dwelling, specifically excludes fences). FEMA is NOT "giving out all kinds of money". These scammers are admittedly taking advantage of flood victims. I've sent my original estimate from 2 years ago and my estimate from yesterday to the TN Attorney General's Office so they can be held accountable."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Both nails and screws are common in fence construction, including on pickets. Some builders prefer to use nails when connecting the pickets to the rails and screws when connecting the rails to the posts. However, the best option usually depends on the type of wood fencing and the variety of wood you choose.

Deer can crawl under a fence if it has a gap of around 6 inches or more. Make sure to close all gaps at the bottom of your fence to keep deer out, and the bottom of the material should be tightly secured, or the deer will push right through it. As an added benefit, closing shorter gaps at the bottom of a fence can also keep rabbits out of your yard.

Knowing how close to the property line you can build a fence is an important planning step in your fence installation project. In many U.S. states, you are allowed to build a fence directly on the property line as long as your neighbor signs off on the plan. But check with your state government because some states and municipalities require a couple of inches before your property line.

You may wonder if you need a permit to build a fence at your home. It varies by where you live. Some cities and counties have laws that require you to obtain a permit to construct your fence. Needing a permit may depend on the size of the fence and the materials you’re using. Check with your local building inspection department or zoning department to determine whether you need a permit. Having to take the steps to obtain a permit can increase the timeline for how long it takes to build a fence.

There are many types of wood fencing that you can choose from. For split rail fencing, the most common wood types are cedar, pine, black locust, and chestnut. The best wood for you will depend on if you like the way a certain wood looks and the availability of the wood type in your area.

Most of the wood types you can find at your local home improvement store are good choices since they all have rot-resistant properties or are pressure-treated with pesticides. If none of the wood options speak to the look you’re going for, check out vinyl fencing.
