"We have been using Dave's waves since 2020 when my husband and I bought our house that had a 40k gallon pool. We never had a pool and were nervous on how difficult it would be. These guys made taking care of my pool so easy. They always know what to do and explain everything in detail. They knew our name the second time we visited and treat us like family. My pool ever year looks like it is professionally maintained because of the effort and time these people take to explain what I need to be doing. And they have cleaned for us several times and close it during the winter. They are fast, efficient, and amazing at everything they do!"

A-1 Concrete Leveling and Foundation Repair is locally family owned and operated. We raise concrete slabs, steps, sidewalks and floors that have settled over time. The process involves drilling small (1 Inch) holes through the slab an pumping an environmentally safe pulverized limestone mix under the concrete to slowly lift it back into place. A-1 also raises/stabilizes foundation that have settled over time. This settling is generally identified by stair step cracks in exterior brick walls, and buckling and sagging in wood siding walls. This process is accomplished by installing steel brackets to the foundation and hydraulically driving steel piers into the ground and lifting the foundation back into place when possible.

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Though a hot tub has many benefits, there are a few cons. Mainly, hot tubs require a lot of maintenance. You’ll need to deep clean yours quarterly, test the pH at least once or twice a week, and add sanitizing chemicals once a week. They also have relatively high ongoing costs since you’ll need to pay for electricity and repairs.

Yes, but only if it is a freshwater tub (not saltwater) and if you make sure the chlorine and bromine levels are below 1 ppm.

Many people find saltwater tubs worth the upfront expense. They cost less to maintain than traditional hot tubs, so you can save in the long term. Maintenance is also easier, typically involving balancing the pH and cleaning the tub rather than adding chemicals. They’re also gentler on sensitive skin, and you won’t walk away with a strong chlorine odor.

Most newer hot tubs are not expensive to maintain. Hot tub maintenance costs about $500 to $1,000 per year. You can DIY, but a pro can clean and treat your hot tub with chemicals and save you time. The biggest hot tub expenses are heating and repairs, but you can preserve your investment with regular maintenance.

It’s possible to move a hot tub on its side or base as long as it fits snugly in the moving truck, with plenty of padding around it. This moving method requires specialized equipment and careful planning, like moving straps, dollies, and moving blankets.
