In January of 2022, we had our expensive surprise as a midnight torrential downpour left one giant swimming pool of a puddle in our backyard lanai. The next day, we secured some recommendations and M. Perez Pavers name kept coming up with positive reviews. We called that morning and, by 10 AM the following day, Ana and Mauricio were at our home inspecting the damage. Although we were expecting them to tell us that we needed to replace all of the pavers on the lanai (over 200 square feet) , we were pleasantly surprised (and relieved) when they told us that only the flooded section needed to be lifted (not replaced) and some sand had to be replaced and re-leveled so that rainwater would no longer accumulate in that one spot. We hired M. Perez Pavers immediately and after watching the crew work, were not disappointed. Ana and Mauricio treated our lanai as if it were their own. The process of lifting and leveling was done in a careful, clean, and methodical manner. Ana and Mauricio always communicated with us via telephone calls, texts and continually sent us daily updates. They put in full days of work for two days, stopping only to have lunch. And when they were done, they cleaned all debris, and power washed our lanai. In fact, we were so happy with their work, we hired M. Perez Pavers re-cement our driveway edges, which, due to twenty years of usage and weather conditions had cracked and weakened in many places along the edges of our driveway. Thanks to Mauricio and Ana, we now have a lanaiâ ¦ free of accumulating rainwater, repaired to allow it to last that way for many years to come. "The workers who did the actual labor of cutting two trees down, one (very large tree) in a delicate location, did an excellent job. Unlike the person who commented that you could hardly tell they had been in the backyard, they left a bit of a mess of a sparsely grassed trail where equipment had run across several times. Apart from that, it is the owner who gave me crap about contacting him rather frequently and changing the plan related to one tree. He is a very poor communicator and letting you know when your job will be done. I realize that weather plays a factor in timing, however, this man did nothing to help indicate when they would be coming out until it was a week and a half before and even then he gave me incorrect information about when they would be out. Secondly, as a businessman, he thinks that the customer is there for the convenience of the owner rather than the other way around.
