I was hoping for just the four things but much to my delight much more was accomplished. He even hauled the cabinet out to the garage in the rain despite my suggestion that it could wait until next time. I couldn't be more pleased."
REceived a call that Sunday afternoon from one of the Moore brothers to set up the appointment - he asked why I had
bought the deal. I explained that my husband is disabled and unable to go under our house and it has not been inspected for several years and I felt that we had a leak somewhere under there. Told him it was a double wide on a block foundation so it was easy access. He made the appt for Tuesday 4/8/14. He and his brother came out and met with my husband - he was told that the Moore Brothers did not get any of the $49, it went to Angie's list for the possiblity of gaining more business. They proceeded to go under the house. They found a broken and leaking valve going to our hot water heater. They filled out a form with all that was seen under the house. They told my husband that they would be happy to fix the broken valve the next day and the cost would be $95.00. I do not know if that was OVER the $200.00 credit that we were suppose to also have in this deal. No mention of that was ever made. They came back the next day as promised and replaced the valve. Everything was fine and my husband seemed plezse with their professionalism The next morning when I got out of the shower I heard a horrible nosie coming from the area where the water heater was. A line had come apart at the water heater. The water had been spraying full force for 10-25 minutes without being noticed. The closet and adjoining bedroom was flooded with 3 inches of water by the time I could get to the pipe and shut it off. My husband and I were drenched to the bone - this was at 7:15AM on 4/10/14. I called the first plumber that had a 24 hour service and got them headed our way. My husband called Moore Home Services in a panic and told them the whole house was floooded and they said they would be right there. They did come by and offered to repay the money but after talking to the plumbers we found out that it had nothing to do with the valve they had replaced it was due to the whole water heater system not being installed properly when the home was first set up back in 1998. We have subsequently called to see if they would come and do more work for us but they called and said that they would contact us but we have not heard back from them. It was a terrible turn of events so I really don't blame them for not calling back to make us permanent clients. "
