"Mr. Pinkston was very professional and completed the job quickly. His price was a lot better than other plumbers I had called and was the only one who even seemed interested in the job. He stayed in touch and was able to fix my problem sooner than scheduled. While he was here, he also repaired a my toilet and kitchen sink at no charge. I will be calling Doug for any plumbing work I need done in the future. I am very satisfied with his work."

"Greg and his crew did some landscaping for us as well as put in some gutter pop up drains. He was there on the day he said he was coming and I am very pleased with him and his crew. They do not goof around they do the job and are easy to talk to. I am pleased with the work he did for me. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future and I plan on doing so."

"I am so thankful I found His & Hers!! This family owned business really helped take my ideas for my bathroom remodel and elevate it to something way better! I never imagined I could have my dream bathroom for the very reasonable price I paid. Brendan communicated with me with daily updates and the whole team was always very clear about what we needed and why. I never felt like I was just being “sold” something additional. In fact, every recommendation from Mike or Brendan ended up saving me a lot of money in the end. Honest, trustworthy, dependable and just an amazing team to have on your side for any home improvements. We use them for everything and recommend them to anyone who will listen!"

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Putting in a new bidet attachment or seat requires as little as 30 minutes. Installing a full bidet toilet or stand-alone bidet might take one to three hours. Additionally, if you need a GFCI outlet installed, that can take 30 minutes to three hours depending on the complexity of the job.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

You’ll need a backsplash behind your pedestal sink in your bathroom. Because pedestal sinks mount directly to the wall and usually have smaller basins with narrow rims, it’s easier to splash and get water on the wall or floor. You’re better off having a backsplash while brushing your teeth or washing your hands.

Vanities may come with a countertop and sink but won’t include faucets. You’ll need to purchase your faucets separately from a home improvement or hardware store. When shopping for a fixture, you’ll have plenty of bathroom faucet types to choose from. Think about your vanity and bathroom aesthetics and what you need when deciding. Single-handle and centerset faucets work well in any space, while widespread, bridge, and wall-mount fixtures work in modern bathrooms.

Clean regularly with non-abrasive cleaners, avoid pouring grease down the drain, and check for leaks under the sink.
