We chatted while she worked. I have never had a french manicure or gel nail polish. I am so excited because she said that the gel nails don't chip and that they last for 2-3 weeks. I never got manicures before because they did not last. The pedicure started with my feet in hot swirling water. My feet and legs were massaged, and then my feet and toes were worked on. Then the color I chose was painted on. They gave me disposable flip flops and after the pedicure, I was able to go over and put my toes under a drying station. I will definitely go back! I loved it! For a regular manicure and a pedicure, it is only $37. I chose to get the gel fingernails which upped the price. Erby Scoggins did a terrible job on my house. I was given his name and number by the sales representative at Key James Brick Company and trusted the referral. Erby quoted me $5500 to remove all vinyl siding and replace with beautiful Horizon stone with a completion date of 10/31/13. Erby came to my house on 10/25/13 and removed all vinyl siding from around my front door and 2 side walls that make up the entrance way into my house. He collected $2800 from me for supplies and left after telling me he would return on Monday, 10/28/13. Scaffolding was left on the front of the house which blocked the front door and created a safety concern for anyone trying to enter and leave my home. Erby did not return to my house on Monday 10/28/13. I waited several hours and called him to find out where he was. He gave me the excuse that his truck was broke down. All materials and tools existed at my house so there was no need for a truck other than general transportation to the jobsite. Throughout the entire job, Erby kept asking me for more money. I told him that I wasn't going to pay until the job was completed and his response was that he couldn't make payroll that way. He was very unprofessional, rude and sarcastic when speaking with me. Erby showed up between 9 and 9:30am and left between 4pm and 5pm most days with a 1 hour lunch break. He and his crew stepped on all of my landscaping lights and crushed them. His broken down truck left grease spots all over my driveway. Mortar and chalky residue has covered my brick steps and will have to be cleaned. The craftsmanship, selection and placement of the stone work is terrible. There are broken edges that resemble a wasp nest and are concrete gray that are exposed and ugly. Mortar work is sloppy and exists on a lot of the stone. I questioned Erby about some of the craftsmanship and he was argumentative and sarcastic. Erby finished the job on Thursday evening, 11/07/13 and called me asking for the balance of the money that I owed him. I told him that I could not pay him yet because I needed time to review the job (in daylight) to determine if it was completed and fine tune an areas that needed attention. There were areas on the walls that were missing stones, stones that had fallen from the walls, mortar that was applied in a sloppy way and general bad craftsmanship that needed to be addressed. Erby became angry and told me that he was coming to my house to get his money that night. I asked him to meet me the next morning, Friday 11/08/13 so that we could review the job in the daylight and he agreed then hung up the phone after saying that he would only spend 20 minutes or so tweaking any inperfections that I found. He said there was nothing wrong with the job and that he wanted his money. I felt very uncomfortable around this man and no longer wanted him around me or on my property. I put blue painters tape on areas that needed rock or mortar to make it easier for Erby to make corrections. He showed up Friday morning and in a big hurry put sloppy mortar in the areas that I had taped, without removing the tape. I now have blue tape hanging out of some of my mortar. He also stuck ugly rock chips in areas that I had taped. The job is an aesthetic nightmare. I have had many friends and neighbors say "it looks good from the street". They are right. It does. However, as you come closer to my home, the errors in judgement and poor craftsmanship become more and more visable. If I could do anything different, I would have done more research on Erby Scoggins and gotten more options for the application of the stone. Now that I have had numerous contractors come to my home to give me opinions, I have learned that Erby Scoggins has a terrible reputation in the stone and brick industry. Unfortunately, I am finding this out after the fact. I am here today to submit my review in hopes of helping someone else avoid the hurt feelings and frustration that I have experienced at the hand of Erby Scoggins.

The brush clearance was the main item that we wanted done, as our back yard had gotten overgrown with a lot of thick brush, dead trees, and weeds. First let me preface this by saying that the guys at Wysong have always been very cordial and nice to deal with, however their job performance left a lot to be desired. My initial impression was a positve one, in that the owner and his co-worker showed up on the date and time they said they would, and were very easy to talk to. I had received a few other estimates for the required services, and Wysong gave the best impression, and a price that was a little above average for what I wanted done. I was explicitly clear as to what I wanted performed, and they stated they clearly understood, and would do the job correctly. After discussion with my wife, we decided to utilize them for the job. The job date was set, and an initial deposit of 20% down was given to them the following day as per their policy. Initially, the job went well. The crew showed up a couple of days late, but accomplished a large part of the job. They weren't able to come back for another 2-3 days because of rain, but they did come back at the end of the week and finshed 85% of the job. I was able to meet them as they were "finishing" for the day, and I stated that while I considered most of the job complete, there was still a lot of the smaller bushes, vines, and ground cover that were yet to be cleared, and that I did not consider the job done. I was assured that they intended on coming back to complete the job with brush trimmers and weed spray because their equipment couldn't maneuver around some of the large rocks and many trees. At that time, the owner requested full payment for the job, which against my better judgement I reluctantly agreed to with the assurances that despite receiving payment in full, they would return to complete the unifinshed job. This is where the hassel began. They have yet to finish the job despite multiple promises to return to complete it. To be fair, the week after they left was very rainy, and precluded them from getting back to our house. However, over the last 2-3 weeks, there have been multiple sunny, dry days in which to complete the job satisfactorily. Despite multiple texts, voice messages, and reassurances by the owner that the job would be completed, it has yet to be finished. After almost 3 weeks, a crew did come by for all of about an hour, but didn't accomplish any of the remaining work that I can tell. There are still bushes and weeds that need to be cleared. I finally reached the owner via cell phone, and told him how I felt about their job performance, and the fact that in my mind, it gave the appearance of being unfinished. We set up a time for him to come and inspect the property to see what my complaints were, and what needed to be done to finish the job. However, as usual, he never showed up on the date and time we agreed upon, despite me clearing time in my schedule to wait around for him. He also never called to reschedule. I've come to realize that now that they have my money, the job will never be finished. I would summarize this long "rant" by saying buyer beware. While the majority of the job was completed, it has yet to be fully finished. If one decides to utilize Wysong's services, make sure that your expecations are fully expressed, and they implicitly understand what you want accomplished. Also, DO NOT pay for the job in full if it is not completed, which is sadly, a lesson learned on my part. The unfortunate part for them is that this was going to be part of a larger staged job of clearing a lot of pine trees, and could have made them another $8000-10000. However, I will definitely NOT be calling on their services again. They may do a fine job for smaller projects, but I cannot recommend them for this type and scale of job. As part of Honda's anti-theft system, the Accord keys have an embedded electronic chip that must be matched to the car in order to start it. That is in addition to cutting the metal portion of the key and programming the remote keyless entry. I bought key blanks online and then I took the blanks to Rick's on E. Brainerd Road. The service guy grumbled about my online purchase and said he couldn't guarantee the keys would work and said that I should have bought the blanks from Rick's instead. He said even if the keys didn't work I would still have to pay. I told him to go ahead and try. He cut and programmed the keys and they worked perfectly. After that, the service guy was much more friendly. Bottom line was that I got 2 keys for less than the price of 1 from the Honda dealer. Overall, a fairly good experience. "(TL/DR: We are happy with the work Cory did, and I would recommend him for your landscaping needs.) The theme here is "all's well that ends well." Cory is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and he's very agreeable to work with. He and his crew work remarkably quickly, too, and the quality of work is very good. The job was not without its hiccups, though. Cory is not a proactive communicator, and that caused us some grief along the way. Without boring you with every detail, Cory and his crew got to work on Day 1, and by the end of Day 2, they had built an entire retaining wall on a line different from the one we'd talked about. He told me he had lain the foundation on Day 1 and, when he didn't hear from me, assumed it was correct and moved on to building the wall on Day 2. Problem is, he didn't inform me that I needed to review his Day 1 work (I never imagined that he would do the work differently than what we talked about when he met me for the initial estimate), or that he would interpret no word from me as acceptance of his work. The result was that he had to deconstruct the wall and then rebuild it along the correct line, which I'm sure was a lot of work, but he did it and did so cheerfully. This kerfuffle was unfortunately repeated, in essence, with the landscape stairs--building, followed by no word from him, followed by silence from me, followed by a discrepancy between what he built and what I wanted. This was especially frustrating, because, after the wall incident, he said he would take photos of the unfinished stairs and send them to me for approval before completing them. But, all's well that ends well: he and I met to discuss the issue, and then he and his crew redid the stairs to my satisfaction. To sum up, my experience with Cory is that he will make judgment calls, build, and hope it works out right rather than consulting you to see what you want and doing it that way (or telling you it can't be done that way for a particular reason). If you have a drawn plan that Cory can refer to, you may not have these issues, and perhaps I should have insisted on drawing him a plan when he didn't insist on having one before beginning work. Or, if you don't work during the day, you could oversee the work and give feedback as it's happening to prevent any issues from arising. But don't expect Cory to be proactive about communication. So, after all that, do I regret getting Cory to do the work? Absolutely not. He got it done quickly, did it well, did it for an excellent price, and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. And we are. We are very excited about the way things turned out, and we can't wait to use the back yard space that Cory helped us create. I would absolutely recommend him."
