I made the appointment with Mr. Blewett several weeks in advance. On the (Monday) morning scheduled, he arrived on time and took care of winterizing the system. I plan to continue to use Blewett Lawn & Landscaping to maintain our system.

They did not return our call for a bid.

Grass is growing beautifully and did a great job. Corey showed up when he said he would and I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Cory responded quickly, discussed some options for the yard and provided a quote. He was exceptionally professional and kept me updated on every step. Outstanding job.

Blewett did the work quicker than I expected! And, even though the Angie's List deal had a mistake, Blewett honored the deal and did a great job. Now it's time to water, water and water. Glad Chattanooga's water comes from the Tennessee River so no rationing!

(TL/DR: We are happy with the work Cory did, and I would recommend him for your landscaping needs.) The theme here is "all's well that ends well." Cory is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and he's very agreeable to work with. He and his crew work remarkably quickly, too, and the quality of work is very good. The job was not without its hiccups, though. Cory is not a proactive communicator, and that caused us some grief along the way. Without boring you with every detail, Cory and his crew got to work on Day 1, and by the end of Day 2, they had built an entire retaining wall on a line different from the one we'd talked about. He told me he had lain the foundation on Day 1 and, when he didn't hear from me, assumed it was correct and moved on to building the wall on Day 2. Problem is, he didn't inform me that I needed to review his Day 1 work (I never imagined that he would do the work differently than what we talked about when he met me for the initial estimate), or that he would interpret no word from me as acceptance of his work. The result was that he had to deconstruct the wall and then rebuild it along the correct line, which I'm sure was a lot of work, but he did it and did so cheerfully. This kerfuffle was unfortunately repeated, in essence, with the landscape stairs--building, followed by no word from him, followed by silence from me, followed by a discrepancy between what he built and what I wanted. This was especially frustrating, because, after the wall incident, he said he would take photos of the unfinished stairs and send them to me for approval before completing them. But, all's well that ends well: he and I met to discuss the issue, and then he and his crew redid the stairs to my satisfaction. To sum up, my experience with Cory is that he will make judgment calls, build, and hope it works out right rather than consulting you to see what you want and doing it that way (or telling you it can't be done that way for a particular reason). If you have a drawn plan that Cory can refer to, you may not have these issues, and perhaps I should have insisted on drawing him a plan when he didn't insist on having one before beginning work. Or, if you don't work during the day, you could oversee the work and give feedback as it's happening to prevent any issues from arising. But don't expect Cory to be proactive about communication. So, after all that, do I regret getting Cory to do the work? Absolutely not. He got it done quickly, did it well, did it for an excellent price, and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. And we are. We are very excited about the way things turned out, and we can't wait to use the back yard space that Cory helped us create. I would absolutely recommend him.

It went just fine. I had to call them instead of them contacting me. When I set up the appointment, he didn't come for the appointment. He finally called back a couple of weeks later and rescheduled. I talked to them about doing some other landscape work and they never returned my call again.

Great. Had to dig and repair the line

Blewett Landscapping came by about a month ago and gave me an estimate. Cory was so nice and understanding. He gave us some idea's about plants to look at. We picked out what we wanted and told Cory to surprise us with some others that he felt would look good. He is a busy man and came back about 2-3 weeks later and got the job done quickly and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Cory and Angie's List !!

Called in the afternoon yesterday and left a message explaining situation, they called back a few hours later and we set up a time for the today. Explained price over the phone. Came out when he said he would, very nice and professional. Fixed the sprinkler head and adjusted another one. Put back the dirt around the one he fixed and made it look nice. Would definitely use this company again for irrigation or even other needs based on this encounter.

Before quoting Corey came and surveyed backyard to determine slope; he had digital survey equipment, was professional and personable. He provided quote and we scheduled service. He had all equipment (nothing rented). They ran into huge boulders when trenching out backyard but did not increase price. Crew left without filling in lowlying areas of front yard or seeding/straw, (additional services requested during quote and included in price) so we contacted Corey and they returned to complete job. They did lay straw on backyard when they returned but it was never apparent that they put out any grass seed. We did not call Corey to notify him of this.

Blewetts come every other week on Tuesday to cut my lawn and string trim the edges. This is my second year using them and have done a satisfactory job.

The service was okay. They came out last year and charged me only $149 as in the big deal purchase. The price was good. I would not use them again in the future.

They came while my husband and I were at work, so we did not see them do the actual job; but when we came home, the tree was gone and the yard had no debris on it. It was just GONE. Very pleased.

This was a routine service and everything went as tt should

Provider was on time and used a lawn aerator to get his work done quickly. I was quite please with the speed the work was performed and that I did not have to be present. They did about .2 of an acre for this price. Normal house size lot.

I purchased a Big Deal from Blewett Lawn & Landscape before and was very happy with the results. We decided to use them again based on that experience. Our 15-year-old Leland cypress trees were significantly brown and crispy and although they provided significant privacy, we decided to have them removed. We also decided to have our 'home grown' walls and walkways replaced with hardscaping. Mr. Blewett was responsive to our request, provided a hand-drawn mock up of the design interpreted from our email to him, met with us to firm up the plan and answer questions, and began work immediately despite frigid and otherwise unfriendly weather. He and his crew were tenacious and productive despite conditions. They arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day. Once again, we are very happy with the results of the efforts of Blewett Lawn & Landscape. Corey Blewett definitely understands the value of customer focus, a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a job well done. Despite the heavy equipment and weight of materials and tools, watching the work progress was poetry in motion--the final presentation was beyond our expectation. We have yet to be able to wipe the smiles off our faces. "Wow!" has been the response from our neighbors, friends, and family when they see the "after". This was a major purchase for us. The service went great. I paid an additional fee to also have them seed the lawn. One technician came out. He was very friendly and told me exactly what he would do. He was very prompt and scheduling was easy.
