"To start, they were very responsive to all inquiries for quotes, described in detail the work to be done, stuck within the limits of their quotes and the subcontractor they hired to do the gutter portion of the job was top notch. All work was done professionally. The workers/staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all inquiries to my satisfaction. I would like to state they had weather related issues that delayed the work some, which they let me know so I would not be wondering if/when work would be done. We had two such delays. They showed up on time as agreed upon, the work they did was top notch and very professional looking and will add to the value of my home. And they did cleanup to the point you could not tell they had ever been there. A first for me, where many other companies that have done work for me have left messes in the past, there was nothing left on the ground or in my beds after they were done. The small company they hired to do the gutter portion of the work was the best I have seen. Superb! What I thought was a good solution, based upon other homes in my neighborhood, they actually designed and installed a much better solution. The homes in my neighborhood had small drains in the back of the gutter, drained directly onto the roof (which in itself may not be an issue but could be potentially later if water is getting under the shingles) and it was easy to tell they were 'quick installs', cheap options. What this company did with mine is they placed the new downspout towards the front of the gutter, to one side (on the big one up front on both sides), with a much longer downspout, where when the water comes out, it comes out onto the lowest part of that roof area and is directed away from the wooded/painted areas, and towards splash guards. Less risk of getting under the shingles, drains almost directly into a lower gutter and by being directed towards splash guards, it is less likely to splash over onto folks walking underneath. I would use either company again, without pause. Their pricing was very competitive, their estimate was very detailed, and I felt very comfortable with everyone that came out to work on my house. They deserve and have earned my strongest recommendation! Thanks for the great job and the flexibility to work around the weather issues that seem to keep coming up."
"The drywall work went pretty quick. There were a few spots (one seam and two electrical boxes) that needed to be finished better. Also, the floors in the area being worked were finished floors. Scaffolding with metal wheels was used during the finishing of the ceiling drywall which scratched the floors. The contractor was contacted and said he would make it right over a month ago. So far, I have not heard back from him."
"The vendor was very responsive over phone and showed up on the morning of the job. They communicated via text and phone frequently which was good. Due to the rain the job had to be delayed a day. In backing down our driveway their truck ran over a part of our yard and tore up the grass. They came back and added sand to try and fix it and said they would handle. They did clean up around the house when they were done and we only found about 10 nails after they left. The only complaint I had is that they left the trailer in our driveway a couple of days before they could pick it up. We live on a hill and it made parking difficult. The trucks also left black marks on the driveway. They offered to pressure wash the skid marks, but the rest of the driveway really needed it as well so we opted not to do that since it would look worse. The price was fair and they scheduled and completed the job quickly. It looks nice and we haven't noticed any issues with the work. I would use them again.
"Sam and the crew did an excellent job, and provided the most positive experience with a construction company I have ever had. When I initially inquired about an estimate, I was contacted the same night and subsequently received a free on-site estimate the very next day. They were very willing to work around my schedule and minimize any inconvenience to me. They were extremely punctual and always returned any phone calls or communications, and did an outstanding job. They did not half-do anything, and cut no corners. The flooring was installed perfectly, with minimal waste, and in a timely manner. All the trim work was done quickly and efficiently, and compliments the work on the flooring. They went above and beyond to provide a positive experience. They were also extremely helpful in offering advice on anything they noticed throughout the course of the job. I truly cannot recommend them enough, and will absolutely have them back for any other jobs I encounter."
"David was great. He assisted in working with the insurance company so that we got a fair settlement on the claim. We had several rain delays but when the weather looked like we were going to have a few days of sun, his crew showed up early and started right to work. They worked very hard the first day removing everything down to the rafters and then getting the OSB laid and the waterproofing on quick in case of rain. On day two the framers came and did a fantastic job getting rid of the flat roof. The roofers worked ceaselessly trying to get the roof on before the rain that wasn't supposed to happen came. When it started raining they quickly tarped the roof so that the contents of the house were protected. They did a fantastic job on the roof, fascia, painting. I was very impresses on the rebuild of a overhang, and the cut in of the flashing around my chimneys. They are a very professional company that really care about the quality of the work that they do. Cobalt and David are my contractor and I have already hired him to help with other jobs on my home. I have recommended him to my friends and give him a double thumbs up.
"The initial visit was thorough and explained all problems. Two different estimates were emailed to us, one for the bracing and one for possible pier placement in one corner. We emailed the contract for the braces and within days, measurements were taken. The next week, a crew of three bolted the braces in place and caulked the stress cracks. All of our questions were answered completely and in language we could understand. The workers were efficient, friendly and helpful. They moved two large shelving units away from the wall and then returned them to their original positions. They also moved some other heavy items we could not move by ourselves and replaced them. We are extremely pleased with the work and the price was reasonable (they were here all day). If placing piers is necessary, they will definitely be the people we call to do the work. They even gave us some tubes of brick pointing material to use on the outside of the house where water had worn away the mortar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! "
