Small jobs welcome

"Mr. Clancy came out to my house after 6:00 on a Sunday to repair the pipes to my water heater. He did a wonderful job explaining everything to me. What he would charge before the job was even started. I had been out of water for 3 weeks, and he was my godsend. If you need someone who will work with you, here is your man."

"Absolutely the friendliest and most professional company! They responded so quickly, and were at my house to do the job the same day! My sewer line was stopped up to the street, and they cleared it out within an hour!! Also, their rates are much cheaper than everyone else. Highly recommend and I will definitely use them again!! Thanks again!"

"Prodigy answered my call regarding frozen pipes, promptly, and began work as soon as he could, which, due to a backup in work caused by a hard freeze in Feb., and covid, was within a few days. When pipe repair was completed, a freeze damaged cartridge in the shower was discovered, causing a leak, overloading my septic tank. I was informed by John, that the part had been ordered and should arrive in about five days. When I heard nothing further, I began calling. After numerous calls, receiving assurance the repair would be completed, and a note to the company web page, that was not answered, there is still no repair to the leaking shower. Other than the unfixed leak, all was good and timely. UPDATE 7/9/21.. leak has now been repaired by another plumbing company."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If used correctly and sparingly, root killer shouldn’t damage your pipes. Make sure to follow the instructions on the back of the bottle or the company’s website to avoid any unintended damages. However, when it comes to copper sulfate, it’s better to avoid it. This type of root killer can damage your plumbing and the surrounding environment.

Snaking a drain can take as little as a few minutes for small, simple clogs, up to two hours or more for tough clogs located further down the drain line. For tougher clogs, a professional drain cleaner can likely get the job done much more quickly because they have the necessary tools and expertise. However, your drain cleaning pro might not be able to give you a firm time estimate until inspecting the clog and its surrounding plumbing.

Yes. Sewer cameras are invaluable tools that can help pros safely diagnose problems with your septic system. Without a camera to look into your system, septic issue diagnoses would be a combination of guessing and past experience. However, a camera can help confirm ideas that your pro may already have about what’s wrong.

First, find the cleanout pipe in your yard. Unscrew the cap—you may need a wrench to do so. Then, get a drain snake. You can use a non-motorized one, but a motorized snake will make the job a little easier. Feed the snake through the pipe until it reaches the clog. Spin the snake continuously, but don’t try to feed it through the pipe anymore. Keep spinning until you feel it break the clog apart.

To get rid of a sewer smell in your crawl space, you’ll have to find the source of the problem. If it has to do with your sewer lines, then repairing the line will help. You may need to make other repairs, like fixing your sump pump or encapsulating your crawl space to reduce moisture. After you make the repair, depending on the issue, you may still need to clean out your crawl space to get rid of the stink.
