It was an interesting one. He wouldn't let me use the credit. I paid him over $250. They did a good job on the work but they wouldn't give me the credit.

They did an excellent job.  Everything went very smoothly from the estimate process where I ended up selecting them to the good job on their work.  So everything about them went gracefully good.  I paid more than the $99 big deal because I had additional work done and I paid for that additional work.  The price was reasonable.

He responded quickly and set up an appointment for the same day. After arriving and checking out the situations, he left to get parts. Returned in about an hour with parts and completed all items with a helper in about two hours. Diagnosed the toilet leak and replaced the gasket.

We bought a new dishwasher and had paid to have it installed by the store we bought it from. When they delivered it the guy said they couldn't install it because we didn't have some cut off valve. I didn't know what he was talking about since we currently had a working dishwasher and had no problem with it. Anyway he wouldn't install it without the cut off valve. I called Ken Tyler and he had a man out within an hour to install the valve. No waiting for days or weeks, He came right out. As he has done every time no matter how busy he has been, he has always made the time to show up and help us with our plumbing needs.

Well, for starters, they forgot to come on the correct day.  I waited during their two-hour window until almost 2:00, then called and asked if they were coming soon.  Jay said that my appointment was the next day, to which I replied that it indeed was this day,  He looked at his schedule and said "oh gosh, it was today, wasn't it?", or something to that effect, I asked if he was still going to come and he said he couldn't because they were on an all-day job.  I asked if they could come the next day, which they said they would. My husband had taken the first day off, and now he was going to have to take another day off.  We were not very happy, but agreed that they could come do the work the next day,
When they arrived the next day, they fixed the leaks, both upstairs and downstairs, which was not very difficult, as the pipes were already exposed; they didn't have to break into the wall at all--we had already done that.  All they had to do was cut the pipe and solder the connections.  It didn't take them very long at all.  But they charged us $187. This wouldn't have been so bad, but they didn't clean up after themselves at all.  They left all the metal shavings and solder on the floor and didn't clean it up,  They were very interested in talking to us about re-plumbing our house, which was okay, but seemed more eager to do that work, rather than the work I hired them to do.   As a matter of fact, one of the first things Jay said to us was that if we were going to replace the plumbing. why not wait and fix the pipes at that time.  We had two leaks that really needed fixing and the re-plumbing job was something we were only considering.  He gave us an estimate, which we said we would think about.
In general, they were just okay, their prices seemed high and they didn't clean up after themselves. AND they didn't show up on the day THEY had scheduled to come do the work.  I was not happy about waiting for them for two hours, only to find out they goofed and had the wrong day and that he seemed rather nonchalant about the whole thing. I definitely will not use them to do the re-plumbing job, and can't in good conscience recommend them,

used $49 coupon and found out water heater needed some parts. I feel the parts and labor were high.  Work was done while my wife was at home and she didn't know much about what they were recommending. They did explain by phone to me before hand. Also, I got no detailed report on the multi part inspection that supposedly came with my heater flush. My receipt simply said "repair heater" next to the $340 charge.  I definitely wouldn't use again.

They were a kind of weird. They lost 2 hours to get parts and they were 2 of them. I wasn't very thrilled with it. I would advice them not to lose 2 hours to get parts and do let the customers know what is going on.

I let him know that I had a problem with the sink in my kitchen dripping.  I also had a small drip in my bathroom sink.  I also had him replace a gasket for the toilet. They ended up charging me an extra $214.25 for the labor and parts in addition to the $39 I already paid that was supposed to also come with a $50 credit.  They also came with no parts on their truck so they had to leave and go to Home Depot to buy the parts.  He said the parts were $58, but I went and priced them afterwards and it was less than they charged me.    Their work was fine, that wasn't a problem, but I think they are very pricey so I cannot afford to use them again in the future.

They did a detailed job. It is great having the use of my laundry tubs back again. They were easily able to diagnose the issue with my disposal being the switch instead of the disposal needing to be replaced. This was a big deal from Angie's List and I feel I got more than my money's worth.

One of the toilets seems to be filxed satisfactorily.  The other still does what it was doing before they came.  It runs a lot, and flushes itself often.
