"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"I went to Angie's list. Three were listed. I called Home Repair Company and spoke to the owner George Bonagura first. He came to our kitchen table,asked what we wanted and my wife,Rose, told him. He gave us ,what seemed to be a fair estimate and explained that his company would be glad to do the work if we wanted them to. No pressure from him at all. Even though we did not have any food at the table, I felt that I was at the "Olive Garden", where everybody is "family". I had met an honest businessman and I was not letting that company get away.I told Rose,that I wanted to hire him right away. If he was good enough for Angie's List, he was good enough for us.
