"Upon inspection, we were shown, via computer, the conditions currently existing and the manner in which AFS would proceed to correct the situation. The decision was made to proceed, a contract signed electronically and a deposit was requested and submitted. The inspector indicated he was having electronic difficulties; was unable to print a copy of the contract, but would submit it as soon as possible. This required several phone calls and a threat to cancel before a copy of the contract was received by email. When the crew arrived the foreman handed us a statement for the full amount of the contract. There was nothing indicated for the deposited amount. That required additional contacts by the foreman to correct the situation. (This was an extremely "shocking" development considering the previous circumstances regarding the paperwork!) The crew did what they could in replacing a pillar under the house but could not bring the floor back to level. They were afraid to use hydraulic jacks unless I would take responsibility for damage. They lifted the foundation approx. 3/4" on the southwest corner of the house bringing it back to level. The work done by the crew was totally acceptable and the foreman did a very good job when explaining exactly what was occurring. As requested by the foreman prior to their departure, , a check was submitted for the balance remaining."

"I contracted with American Foundation & Basement Repairs, LLC for waterproofing services to include replacing the drywall once the installation was complete. The salesman listened to me, made all the changes that I requested, answered my questions, and did it all quickly, efficiently, and without pressure. The work crews were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, hauled away all the debris, and kept me well informed throughout the process. They called daily to let me know when they would arrive since the repair was not at my residence, giving me plenty of time to get there to let them in the house."

"Initially, I must say that Chris's sales pitch was a little overwhelming with too many statements about different levels of quality about the shingles and free up-grades. I was told upfront that plywood sheeting would run $50/sheet if it was needed. When the job was completed, I was told 8 sheets of plywood was used ($400) but was not told this prior to it being installed and had no way to verify it from the discarded material. Unauthorized work was done without being approved by me which resulted in additional charges beyond the original estimate (from $5950 to $6700). Overall, the quality of the work was excellent. The roofing crew worked diligently to complete the job, but there was definitely a communication barrier when talking to them. Did not know the exact date and time the job would be done until the work crew rang my doorbell at 7 a.m. unannounced. Did not receive an in-hand estimate on-site but rather was sent a picture of the receipt by email. I would have preferred a hard copy of the contract worksheet at the time of the estimate. Just make sure to get everything in writing especially the cost for additional materials and labor beforehand. After all. when the roof is striped of all its protective covering, the consumer has no choice but to pay the price that is charged."

"Make sure the person giving the estimate explains exactly what it looks like. They did not bring their own water to mix the cement. We had to remove the water tank so that they could work and ended up hauling water from the neighbors house."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."
