TV#1 David installed an electrical circuit and re-routed cable wiring before installing the wall bracket for the TV and then mounting the TV. He synchronized the TV with a new cable box and made adjustments to my wife's preferences.
TV#2 David installed the wall bracket and then mounted the TV to the wall.. He synchronized the TV with a new cable box and made adjustments to the TV according to my preferences.
David was very easy to work with and went out of his way to insure our satisfaction with his work, He was very meticulous in cleaning up any debris from the installations. I would not hesitate to have David in our house again and highly recommend him for any electronic installation that you may need.
This is the 3rd project Geary has completed for us since we purchased our home last year. He did excellent work that met and/or exceeded our expectations in the prior two jobs, but this one was so well done that I had to write a review, even as he deservedly has so many excellent reviews on the site already it seems like he hardly need another! In fact, the only negative you could try to come up with is that he is so in demand with new and existing customers that there tends is usually a wait before he has an opening. But we've waited three times for him to be available and it has been worth it and far better to have the job done right than immediately as far as we're concerned.
The first two projects Geary did were some changes to an old built in shelf and TV console to better fit modern flatscreens and remove a plaster framed picture above the entrance. Both came out great and while we originally just hired him to remove the eyesore of a sculpture, Geary had the idea and completed something in its place--some molding that matches the rest of the foyer. Next he removed and hauled away an old trash compactor and replaced it with a built in sliding trash can shelf. It looks like it was always there and works well.
Most recently he put in a door and glass transom. This was a very wide opening with a high ceiling where no door existed before, and where a staircase actually cut into most of the wall. Prior to Geary we had heard everything from moving the wall, to cutting the staircase to expanding the wall to get a door in. A relative who is an engineer and accomplished DIYer, didn't think it was possible at all without major structural work including refinishing the hardwood floors afterwards. But the door is in, works well and looks like it belongs there and has always been there. It also could easily be removed if needed to return it to previous condition including the original moldings which are intact and just covered. All that was required was him ordering the door, then installing it in one day by himself. It was an excellent job, and one that few even wanted to try for us due to the difficulty.
In our experience, would be hard to find anyone better for home improvement and repair projects, and he's reliable and very reasonably priced.

He got into one tv and there was a small plastic plug with about 10 or 15 wires burnt really bad and said that was the problem. Looked at another tv just like it and it was totally dead. Said he could make one tv out of the two of them. He went on to the next tv and found an electronic board in there with a few capacitors that were swollen up and he said that that was the problem with that particular tv. So at one point he said that the board with the capacitors swollen up could be fixed by replacing that bad board in it for $80. So I asked him if that will fix it for sure. He said he didn't know, that it was impossible to tell without replacing the board and going from there. I told him that my insurance adjuster needed a final repair cost or a replacement cost. But he kept on saying that he didn't know whether or not that replacing that board would fix it completely. I then said that a new tv like it at a large club retailer was $498 and that he needed to either show that a definite fix was possible with a certain cost or recommend that it needs to be replaced, especially since he couldn't say that replacing one thing in the tv would definitely fix it. He ended up refusing to do this or report that lightning had hit the tv's or a surge even. So I said then what caused all this damage then? No real answer was given. I said to him then that I asked if you could come look at my tv's after the lightening hit my house and make the report for my adjuster telling the problem, repair cost or replacement cost and you said you'd done it many times before. So what's the problem? No real answer. This was on the third of five tv's to look at. I stopped him and asked him how much was the bill so far. He grumbled "$60". I paid him and threw his butt out of my house and told him to read his reviews here. And that is putting it very nicely compared to what actually happened. Real idiot to say he could do the job and come out looking like it was his first day on the job and had never done a report for an insurance company, and this was Doug, the owner of the company. He's is the type of young kid that you could imagine him sitting around all day gaming and if your daughter brought him over as her new boyfriend you'd throw him out and ground her for life. He was short with customers that called him on his cell phone while at my house, treating them like they were inferior because they didn't know what he thought he knew about tv's. Condescending is the word. I say that if you have a tv zapped by lightning, go buy a new one and pay for it out of your own pocket. Repairmen and insurance companies ain't worth it to file the claim. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE
As far as Dougs response to what I have said, I see that he didn't bother to say here what caused the 3 tv's he looked at to have a problem if lightning didn't hit them. And too, I told the young genius that the other two, the ones he says had no problems at all, stank of a burning smell when you turned them on for a few hours. He never did that nor could have since he was in and out within the hour. He only tried to turn them on to see if they would turn on or not, thinking like a lot of people that if lightning hits something, it doesn't work anymore. I used to think that too. My insurance adjuster himself has corrected me on this mistaken idea. He says lightning surges vary from very slight surges from electromagnetic pulses causing erratic behavior and/or burning smells that can last for days or weeks until the thing burns out, to direct hits that knock out the appliance completely. He says he has had to pay claims for whole houses full of appliances that are damaged from surges like this that are from one end of the spectrum to the other, either working erratically to stinking to completely dead. File a false insurance claim? I asked him to write a report showing what he found wrong and repair or replacement cost. Simple thing to do, but couldn't do it because he has no idea what he is doing other than being a parts changer, and guys like this change out parts or electronic boards in this case, until they hit the problem, and at your expense. As far as the threat he says I made to him? He said he didn't want me to jump on him about the situation, meaning give him grief about it. I said if I was jumping on you you'd be laying there bleeding already. I asked him how much I owed him for what he had done up to that point, I gave him his money and told him to get the "F" out of my house and slammed the door behind him. So why if I did what he said I did, talk about pulling out a gun and shooting him, did I pay him his $60 bucks for the 3 tv's he looked at instead of just throwing him out without paying at all? He says he's honest? I never mentioned anything about a gun, shooting him or anything like that. And too, if I threatened him this way, why weren't the cops called? So basically, he says I'm a liar. If anyone wants this guy to come out and do business with this guy, good luck. You gonna need it.
Today, Doug emails me and says this in his first email:
"Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar
And I will let everyone know you threatened to shoot me because I would not file a false insurance claim."
My response was:
"Okaaaayyyyy"
His next email read:
"I went ahead and called metro and I will be filing a police report on the matter because of you threatening me and slandering my name."
My response was:
"Cool. Ill post these emails on your reviews as well. Customers love to hear about all of this. Of course my wife will be there to testify at my trial. She heard the whole thing as it happened. I guess you'll bring your witnesses as well?"
My final response today was: "Where is the cops at? Right after I'm arrested, my attorney's going to have you arrested for filing a false complaint to the police and lying to them to get a warrant for my arrest. And I'll be posting that in your reviews too. You should take your medicine boy before you get your butt put in jail for a long time."
Welllllll........I'm still waiting on the police to show up. What he didn't know was that my wife was sitting around the corner in the kitchen the whole time listening to the whole thing. This is what kind of honest businessman he is and you'll have to deal with if you call him up to work on your stuff.
I screen captured the actual emails he sent me and posted them here as well.

FAQs for tv antenna equipment service projects in Columbia, TN
If your TV antenna is good quality and was installed by a professional, you can expect it to last between 10 and 20 years without needing repair or replacement. This can vary based on your geographic location, weather conditions, and antenna location.
TV antennas should be replaced if it’s been bent or physically damaged. It is possible that these can still be repaired. However, the repair won’t be as superior as a repair on a non-damaged antenna. Since repairing an antenna is typically less expensive than replacing it by at least $100, it’s worth trying to save your existing one if possible.
Before investing in a TV antenna repair, there are a few steps you can take to help boost your signal quality. Removing obstacles like tree branches can help improve your signal strength. Along the same line, moving an indoor antenna away from obstacles can also help. These should be near a window, as high as possible. If these steps don’t work, speak with a TV antenna technician about a signal amplifier to help boost your signal even further.
The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.
Before your TV antenna stops working, there are a few ways to tell it’s starting to break. Some common signs that your antenna needs repair include:
A repetitive “no signal” issue
A redundant “searching” issue
Increased signal issues during a cloudy or rainy day
A sudden drop in signal strength, regardless of the weather
If you’re experiencing these problems, you’ll want to ensure that your cables are still in good shape and have not deteriorated. In addition, check to make sure that your cables are firmly in place at the wall outlet. Finally, check the position of your antenna to ensure there are no obstructions in its path. If you’ve checked your antenna thoroughly and are still having these problems, a repair is most likely needed by an antenna technician.
