He was honest and said it was not worth fixing. When I went to apply the extended AMEX warranty I had and we had a VISIO authorized man come out, he totally agreed.

My 10 year old 50" Samsung Plasma TV stopped turning on. I emailed Steve and he called me to schedule a repair date. He came by and replaced a fuse, cleaned the contacts (metal part) that touch the fuse, and replaced a few transistors. This is the second time Steve has been able to help save a TV of mine. Much cheaper than buying a new one. Highly recommend.

My television and U-Verse kept going on and off. ATT came and checked the U-verse box and connections and told me something was wrong with my TV. I called Steve that evening and scheduled an appointment. He arrived at the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the problem. The projection lamp/bulb was replaced and he also adjusted my remote control. Steve is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and he took time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend After Hours TV Repair. Fantastic service!!! Steve is the best!!!

Steve was very nice and professional, he knew the issue with the TV and had all the parts needed to fix the TV while he was there. It was the first issue with this TV which is several years old and the turn around time from the initial point of contacting was wonderful when you have kids. I will definiately contact him again if any issues with our TV's.

I was very pleased with the service, and the reasonable price. I really felt that it was worth the price of an estimate to see if the Tv could ever be used. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
He responded to my initial inquiry virtually minutes after I submitted it via Angies List.
He was able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner.
He showed up for the initial diagnose when he said he would. Took what seemed a reasonable amount of time to disassemble the TV and check out the problem.
While I paid him for this visit, he told me that this charge would be credited on the subsequent visit, should I use him to do the repair, which I did.
For the actual repair, a few days later - again, he was punctual. The actual repair took what seemed a reasonable amount of time. He ensured that all was working ok, and then he left.
He was polite, punctual, clean, well-mannered, and professional. He knew what he was doing. Pricing was ok.

He determined that picture/screen panel got cracked and need replacement. It will be very expensive repair. He suggested to call OEM if they can help.

"Yes, cracked screens cannot be repaired. However, they can be replaced but it is very costly to do so. Quite often the manufacturer will pro-rate a television and give a credit towards a new set. I hope that it worked out for you."

He only charged me a service charge of $49. He did not think he would be able to get to me for 3 days. To my surprise, he called that same afternoon and was close to me and came right out. Showed me how to reset the TV so I can do it myself next time. He was wonderful, nice and friendly. I would highly recommend Steve!!!
