"Before removing or cleaning anything we would set up a 3200 cfm air scrubber on the outside of the building tied into one of
the foundation vents to create a negative pressure in the crawl space. This will keep dust, mold and odors from traveling
upstairs and harming tenants. Next all the crawl space vents will be sealed using foam board and expanding foam. All visible
floor penetrations such as holes where wires and pipes extend through the sub floor will also be sealed. Once everything is
sealed and a negative pressure has been created we will begin the project. The project would start with a deep cleaning of the
crawl space area. All debris would be removed including old vapor barrier, trash, large rocks, old pipes, etc.
All insulation will be removed. It will be bagged and hauled away all in same day.

Mold will be cleaned from the wooden surfaces in the worst affected area by using the swipe method. Using a shop towel
(heavy duty paper towel) all wood surfaces will be swiped, the towel will be folded then swiped again untill all mold particles are
removed, never rubed into the surface. The cleaning solution ''Advanced Cleaning Solution'' made by Anabec. After thoroughly
cleaning the affected wood surfaces we will apply ''mold control''. Concrobium Mold Control effectively eliminates and prevents
mold with no bleach, ammonia or VOCs. Concrobium works as it dries by crushing the mold spores at the roots and leaving
behind an invisible antimicrobial barrier to prevent future mold growth. This will be applied by use of a fogger. The fogger
guarantees every square inch is covered.

The technician was very professional and friendly, he even put on covers over his shoes before coming in the house. "Fix It Technology was contacted early on a Monday (after a late Friday a/c repair) to repair a small walk-in closet damaged from water as well as some other small repairs in the home.
Shawn came by on Monday and did a walk through of the closet and the other small repairs, inspecting the drywall and carpet for water damage. At that time, he left an industrial fan to help dry out the closet.
Shawn, owner and operator, is very polite, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He always calls before arriving at your home. The men in his crews are also very nice and polite. I would not hesitate to have any of them in my home.
He and his crew came back on Tuesday and ripped out the carpet, baseboards, insulation, and drywall. After removal of the drywall, the wall studs were determined not to be water damaged to the point of needing replacement, just drying out. The industrial fan was left to dry out the closet for several days.
Shawn came back in a couple of days and closed off a small hole where the damaged a/c condensation line had originally been, the source of the water leak, replaced damaged insulation and installed the drywall.
We had decided to replace the carpeting with laminate flooring which Shawn's company installs as well.
The flooring crew was very nice and polite and true perfectionists. A joy to watch them. So glad the decision was made to go with the laminate flooring over replacing the carpeting. The flooring crew installed both the flooring and baseboards, as well as all painting that was needed.
Shawn was back the day after the flooring, baseboards and painting were finished to look over all repairs and check our satisfaction.
I could not be happier with all the repairs. The closet looks fantastic and the flooring looks wonderful. All the other repairs look so good that you can't tell anything has been done.
Shawn's invoice is easy to understand with labor and materials separated and all materials itemized for easy breakdown. That was very appreciated.
I will not hesitate to use Shawn and his company again and would highly recommend his company to anyone needing any type of repair or a hardwood/laminate flooring installation.
As a matter of fact, we will be using his company again to install the same laminate flooring throughout the entire home.

Arrived on time and immediately when to work. The size of
the safe they were moving was very large and heavy. They (two staff) sized up
what was needed to move the safe and wisely brought a third person on site to
assist in moving the safe, and they certainly needed him. The team managed to
bring the safe into the house threw the main entrance, up a flight of 25
stairs, down a narrow winding hall and put it in position without scratching a
wall or base board. I was impressed.
The crew was very easy to talk to and eager to do anything
they could to help (above and beyond). They helped out with moving some
furniture and a portable Air conditioner that were not part of the work order.
I must say it was a great job at very fair price. Money well spent.

"Very well. Not only does the finished deck look very good, Danny and his crew worked through brutally cold weather to assure that it was finished promptly. This is the second time I've hired this company to do work at my house, and both times I found them to be hard working and very responsive. I was impressed by their willingness to work on days when the weather made that very difficult. Danny does a good job of explaining what needs to be done and why, and he listened to what I wanted and gave me a deck that exceeded my expectations in terms of the appearance and quality of the work. I will definitely us them again when I need home repairs/improvements in the future. In addition to the deck, they did some preventative maintenance on the roof of my sunroom, added insulation to my attic, and helped me with minor issues involving a shower head and my dishwasher. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."
