"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"This was our second major project with Shawn. He did our kitchen remodel a couple years ago, and we were so pleased that we contracted him again. We wanted him to do the entire bathroom addition project, but he doesn't do the structural work (foundation, roof, etc.) We wanted him so badly that we spent several months looking for another contractor that would agree to let someone else do the finish work. We went through several contractors until we finally found someone. We had to agree to be responsible for the building permit.
Shawn and his crew installed all the bathroom tile, including floor tile with floor heating, a curb-less glassed-in shower, and one full tiled wall. They installed a jetted tub, an 8 foot, two-sink vanity with mirrored medicine cabinets, and a 3-foot tall cabinet. All the finish plumbing, lighting, wood trim, and painting. The bedroom remodel job included installing new doors and trim, painting, new carpet, and un-popcorn of ceilings.
Shawn is very good at suggesting ideas that make your project even better than you had planned. Details that you'd never think of, but details that really improve your project.
Another excellent job by Shawn and his crew.

"We hired Eric at the end of November 2012 to finish the basement of the house we had recently moved into.  The basement had been partially framed and plumbing was in for a three piece bath.  We asked Eric to complete the basement so that it would have a family room, library with floor to ceiling custom bookcases, bedroom, bathroom, small wine cellar, and a stained concrete floor. We were quite open to any suggestions Eric had and we are very pleased with his ideas.  The basement turned out beautifully.  Eric can do pretty much anything but his strong suit is definitely cabinet making.  We had originally just thought of having bookcases in the library but Eric suggested that we also do a custom built-in on a wall in the bedroom which looks great and is a perfect focal point.  The bookcases are lovely with open shelves on the upper portion, closed cabinets on the bottom and a built-in desk with drawer.  Eric also had a great vision for the wine cellar (which was built into a small storm shelter).  The wine storage can hold nearly 400 bottles of wine and has a glass-door cabinet to hold glasses and other accessories.
One issue we did have was with the stained concrete floor.  Although Eric did all the testing necessary to make sure the stain would work and that the floor did not have a sealer on it, the stain never soaked in the way it was supposed to.  The sealer just sat on the surface of the floor and resembled paint.  After Eric was finished with the remodel, we began to notice that the stain was peeling off the floor in several places and just did not turn out the way we wanted it to.  We asked Eric to come out and he agreed that the floor was not up to his standards.  When we told Eric we would just rather have a tile floor put in, he generously agreed to provide the labor for free.  He just recently finished the tile and it looks fantastic.
In addition to the basement, we also had Eric do a few other odd jobs, such as wiring a light fixture in our keeping room and repairing some mortar on the exposed brick in our kitchen."

"Inquired with the owner to make a custom wood vent hood to go with a cabinet line that did not offer this product. Rusty, the owner built it to the exact specifications provided and was able to perfectly match the paint, this only took him a few days to provide a design and an excellent solution to my problem. The builders that I was designing kitchens for liked it so much that we ended up getting several more vent hoods made all with different sizes and paint colors. This was an excellent solution due to pre-fabricated cabinet lines over charging, and taking up to 12 weeks to have one delivered. I would highly recommend timber creek for any of your woodworking needs!"

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

There are three primary ways to attach upper kitchen cabinets to a wall, and installers may use more than one method at a time. The most common method is to drive screws through the back of the cabinets and into studs in the wall behind. Sometimes cabinets are glued to the wall with strong adhesive. Often a combination of screws and adhesive is desirable. The last way is by hanging the cabinets on hardware brackets that attach to the wall before cabinet installation.

There are several ways to save money and keep costs down when building an outdoor kitchen. Building on an existing patio can reduce the cost of a new foundation, especially if it's close to the house. You can also save on utility line installation by opting out of a sink and using a built-in propane or charcoal grill. If you have the skills, tackling parts of the project yourself—like building or finishing cabinets, installing fixtures, and constructing seating—can lead to significant savings. Reusing appliances you already have is another great way to cut costs. Finally, consider starting small with just the essential components and adding more features over time as your budget allows.

The cost to install a kitchen island can range from $900 to $6,500, with an average price of around $4,800 for most homeowners. The final cost depends on whether you choose a prefabricated or custom-built option. It is generally cheaper to buy a prefabricated island than to build one from scratch. A budget-friendly prefabricated cart can cost between $150 and $900, while a permanent prefabricated stationary island costs from $900 to $5,000. Custom-built kitchen islands average $4,800 but can cost $10,000 or more, depending on factors like materials, size, design complexity, and accessibility.

Costs range from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on the material, design, and number of cabinets.

It depends on whether you buy pre-made stacked cabinets or construct them from scratch. If you build added cabinets from scratch, you can expect it to take several hours or days to build each one and then another two to three days for installation. Then, after painting your new cabinets, you should allow a few weeks for the paint to dry thoroughly before installing them over your existing cabinets.
