"Can’t begin to say enough good things about this contractor. Already discussing other projects. Came up with better design than other contractors, arrived by 8 every morning and worked all day. Kept periphery areas clear of mess and dust. Excellent quality, helpful with choices and looks."

Small jobs welcome

"About 6 years ago, we had a new stand up shower installed thru Hullco. Well apparently the silicone was not water proof. So I ended up with Mold behind the caulk. So I hired Zach to come in and remove all caulk and clean up the Mold, and then reapply the proper caulk. Zach did an Amazing job. And if everything works out right, I am going to hire him to do a complete upgrade on that bathroom. Thank you Zach"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Routine pool and spa service shifts with the seasons. Open your pool and rebalance the water chemistry after the last TN freeze in late March. During hot summers, monitor chlorine levels frequently to prevent algae. Manage heavy leaf debris in the fall to stop surface staining. Protect your plumbing from freezing during winter cold snaps, and check your equipment year-round for optimal performance.

Helpful?

When hiring a professional for pool construction and installation, verify they hold all required state licenses. Choose a licensed contractor experienced with the unique clay and limestone soils found in Cleveland. Confirm they carry proper general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Your pro must also understand local permitting processes and inspection schedules to keep your project running smoothly and safely.

Helpful?

After completing spring pool and spa service, re-test the water chemistry within two days to correct imbalances caused by Cleveland rainfall and pollen. Inspect all equipment for hidden freeze damage and slow leaks. Following any major resurfacing work, monitor the water daily for two weeks to prevent staining. Secure your pool cover tightly and inspect it immediately after severe winter storms.

Helpful?

Select durable materials for your pool and spa service to withstand local weather. Choose plaster finishes with quartz aggregate or pebble surfaces to resist winter freeze-thaw cycles. Install slip-resistant concrete or natural stone decking for safe footing in Cleveland's humid climate. Use stabilized chlorine products to combat intense summer sun. Add calcium hardness supplements, as municipal surface water naturally lacks sufficient minerals.

Helpful?

Start your pool construction and installation by verifying your specific zoning and setback requirements. Schedule a site assessment to evaluate the soil and identify potential flood zones. Secure all required building, electrical, and plumbing permits before breaking ground. Plan your excavation for the late spring or summer to avoid Cleveland’s wettest months, ensuring a stable foundation and timely completion.
