We are so thankful that we discovered Roots Restoration! We had severe drainage issues with water coming up onto our patio and against our foundation after the heavier Southern rains. We had two other landscaping companies work on our yard prior to Alan and his team. Both of those companies did what they thought was best, but they couldnâ t fix the problem. Alan immediately and accurately evaluated the severity of our issues. With the completion of our project, we finally have water diverted from our foundation. Another bonus to all of their hard workâ ¦we finally have a beautiful backyard. We have grass instead of bare clay and weeds. We highly recommend Roots Restoration!

Alan and his team are great to work with! The communication was above board. I got regular updates during the entire project. The HOA had some issues with the DJ shed project but Alanâ s team was extremely helpful and willing to help with the communication necessary to get corrections approved. We arenâ t totally finished because of the changes but the Roots Restoration team is definitely the professionals to use. I will be using them on my next project. Highly recommended!! A+

Quick response to help revise something that I needed to add on.

The project that I had done by the contractor from this company named Allen. He wrote me up a contract to do my yard work to lift my yard up and to stop it from flooding. He said I would need a pump 2-3 loads of topsoil and he ended up with three truck loads of field dirt with huge rocks in them after he said it would take the third truckload after that it was still flooding I tried contacting him to come and see about it see his work done he told me to take a picture and send it to him I did but as far as me calling him no response he posed to came out to talk with me no respond and I feel that right today and I had it done in February a 2022 with that being said I myself personally had to go back and do my yard work all over by myself by putting 57 stones in my yard first and then came back with dirt and now I have no flood no water standing or nothing the pump work at the water get in my yard and it drained to the pump and go out it worked fine but as far as me doing my own work as putting rocks which he did not put in there he did not give me three loads of topsoil and he charged me almost 2,500 for this work and I got this email today or this text today to rate you all I will not give the company itself a bad review but the person who work for them Allen and he know me as Jimmy Martin at 2314 Chamberlain avenue he still came in responding to see if the yard was that satisfied or am I good with the work he did.

They are fast and the work is 10 stars!! Will be using again and forever!

Alan and team came out and replaced our drainage system connecting to our existing gutters. He added a grate drain in front of our garage so it wouldn't flood anymore. After digging the trench, replacing the drain, and replacing the top soil, he also removed multiple bushes for us in order to clean up our landscaping. Planning to use them again!

Alan loved playing in the dirt with his equipment, We sometimes did not understand each other on what we expected to get done. UPDATE 07/30/2021: Alan sure likes playing in the dirt...!! He did the grading of our yard pretty well, there were additional loads of dirt used because we requested more to be done than Alan recommended... He ran back and forth across the ground and packed the dirt in more than we thought he would. On our own, we ordered 2 loads of mushroom compost to put on top of the packed dirt to grow the grass seed. During this same contract, he put in a pad for our firewood that is 20 x 30 feet with asphalt grindings that could have been packed better but Alan had other contracts he needed to get done. He has yet to finish a **French Drain** that only got half done, looking forward to that after we get another contractor here to put in a cement pad.

Alan did an amazing job in my backyard. He was very professional, affordable, creative and a super friendly guy. He showed up on time and leveled an area for our 22ft pool and even allowed my boys ages 4 & 7 yrs old to help spread the sand! They were thrilled! My husband had a space at the end of our property that he had wanted to make a man’s area and Alan cleared that space of the over grown bushes and pulled the tree stomps up to make the space neat and clean. He discussed plenty of creative ideas with my husband to make use of the space.

Alan at Roots Restoration did an outstanding job preparing our backyard for an above ground pool.He was able to fit us in the same day we contacted him.He leveled the area we needed very quickly and even used leftover soil to fill a low spot in another part of our yard that usually has water standing after heavy rains.He was also able to quote a very fair price just by looking at photos of the yard before coming to our house.He also showed up on time.We will definitely use Roots Restoration again with any other landscaping projects.We never could have done what he did by ourselves.

My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the work performed. We are anxiously looking forward to having a nice lawn on a not so sloped yard. He is extremely professional and courteous and we would definitely call him again for any other yard needs we may have in the future. Thank you!

His customer service is absolutely excellent. His detail is amazing. I continue to use him again and again. He was very successful at providing the information needed. He always cleans up and goes the extra mile. He was always professional and very sincere.
