"I ordered the shower kit from Lowes and it was delivered in a timely manner. However when we opened the box we found that everything was there except the side walls! How can it be a kit if it doesn't have walls? I called the manufacturer and discovered that the problem was with them and their advertising and not with Lowes who were as perplexed as I was. Anthony and his brother loaded the kit in their truck an we went to Lowes where I got refunded the full amount. Anthony then worked with the plumbing department where we got a kit from a different manufacturer which had all the parts and TriStar got it installed just fine. He explained all the different options that we re available to us for a bathtub conversion to a walk in shower and quoted us a price for doing some ceiling fans and installing 2 storm doors. He was clear on the timeframe to start and how long it would take. Several days later I asked for a quote on removing all the old flooring and installing all new vinyl plank in the whole house. His price was again the lowest but beyond that his explanation of how he would do it and the timeline needed. We closed on the house February 3rd and met Alan that day explaining we needed to move in March 15th. Alan began the job 2 weeks later advising he would be be done by March 11th. Even after us adding some additional odd jobs and us causing 2 days lost due to driveway repairs and improvements Alan was done on time. He delivered on everything promised with high quality work in an extremely professional manner. We could not be happier with everything he did. Many times a contractor is selected based on price but Heartland not only had the best (by far) price the workmanship was like none that we have ever had before from someone I was not already familiar with. "Very nice group of people. We used them for the granite in both bathrooms. Very flexible and the prices were reasonable. The only improvement I could see in their operation is the need for better light in the back of their facility where the granite is stored. It is difficult to judge the colors of the granite as they might appear in ones kitchen."
