"It was an excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves and checked to make sure that we are satisfied. They are on time. We already hired them for the work on our back porch and it was another excellent service."

"Casey responded immediately when he heard that I was looking for someone to replace florescent light bulbs in the garage. He told me approximately when he could be here, gave me the lowest quote to complete the Job, and than completed the job in about 15 minutes. He was very polite and courteous. I plan to call him again when I need a handyman around the house."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

"I highly recommend Carlos and his crew! They removed not one but two layers of wallpaper. Repaired the walls where needed, removed the chair rail and painted my entire dinning room. It looks stunning! They are fast, efficient, reasonable and do a fantastic job. I’ve already got them scheduled to come back to do another job for us."

"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"They were fabulous.  I spent $14000 on that service.  They were extremely prompt and reliable.  Every day at the end the day they cleaned up because they were here for about 3 weeks.  They got on their hands and knees and moped up my house and left my house spotless when they left.  They had really good attention to detail and the best I have ever had.  They are expensive, but I did not mind just because they did such a good job.  As far people as for people looking for something a little more economical, they may give the price grade B."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Yes, a 2x6 should hold a porch swing and safely support the load. A smaller joist runs the risk of it not offering enough support for the swing. If you have a joist smaller than 2x6, add additional bolstering support.

Most Cape Cod houses are two stories tall at the peak, although they’re considered one-and-a-half stories tall because the steep roof pitch cuts off a portion of the living space on the second story. Unless you raise the roof on your Cape Cod house to add a dormer, the interior rooms upstairs will lose some usable living space to the sloped ceilings.

Installing an ornamental or decorative porch column takes around three to five hours. Structural columns take longer because your pro has to install a jack to hold up the roof while switching the column out. If there's any structural damage, it can add several days to the timeline to repair the damage.

Yes, walls on the top floor can be load-bearing if stacked on the floor’s foundation.

When deciding whether to use nails or screws for framing, the specific needs of the project must be taken into account. Nails have long been the go-to option for framing due to their affordability, ease of installation, and ability to withstand shear forces. They are perfect for structural framing projects where fast assembly is essential. In contrast, screws offer exceptional holding power and are particularly useful in situations requiring increased strength and resistance to pull-out forces. For projects that prioritize accuracy and long-lasting quality, screws may be the preferred option, though nails remain a dependable and efficient choice.
