"I do not hesitate to recommend Greg Ferguson for remodeling projects. The first thing I like about Greg is that he answers all phone calls or texts and shows up when he says he will. He was willing to change plans and try new techniques from what had been planned when problems came to light resulting from previous original building faults. Because it was such a large project in which the cost of many of the items could not be estimated in advance, his cost was for labor only. The project was finished within the time expected. During this project Greg was cognizant of costs, making suggestions that resulted in lower costs. His workers were always on time and I had no concern about them being in my house in terms of security. All were most courteous during this project and were a pleasure to work with. When other contractors whom I had contracted with before he agreed to do the work showed up to install countertops, sand floors, etc., Greg and his workers worked around their schedules and he was very supportive in making sure that their participation in our project was accommodated. In short, Greg is easy to work with and has a very high standard of craftsmanship. We have already asked Greg put us on his schedule to do some work on the outside of house!"

"Had almost half of one side of my mobile home's power go out. I tried for an hour contacting every licensed electrician i could. They either wouldn't come for a month, or would give me someone else to contact. I managed to find Rife's remodeling and call. Immediately answered and asked the issue. Now keep in mind this is a call he received out of the blue while driving presumably to another work site. He asked when I'd like him to come by. I said "I wish it could be checked today, but seeing how everyone else has been, when do you have time available." or similar. He promised that day he'd be by to check it out, and he was. Only 2 hours and he came, and diagnosed the problem quick. Sadly it was already getting late, and he couldn't fix it the same night. he scheduled as early as i wanted the next day for his guys to come and do the repair. They came when I asked, and did a good job. The gentlemen were also a pleasure to hold conversations with while they worked, and were respectful. Mr Rife himself was a pleasure to talk to, and has a very professional air about him. I have a lot of work I need done, and after meeting him I have NO doubt he is the one I need to hire for all of my remodeling. I strongly recommend him to everyone. no longer should you have to worry that your contractor knows what he is doing. "Excellent. Highly recommend Brett Lamley of all pro builders. Honest, reasonable prices, exquisite attention to detail and very punctual. He is also a a very neat contractor. Such jobs require removal of old before installing new. We all should expect our home to be messy during such renovations but Brett spent extra time to vacuum and clean every speck of dust or dirt that may have been tracked in during working hours. Ive had many homes remodeled in 3 different states and Mr lamley is by and the best contractor I ve ever had. He has a great eye for design and was able to understand my wishes and gave me exactly what I wanted for my unusual mountain home. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. . Highly recommend him."

We recently purchased a 2nd home on Lake James with an exterior that is 100% cedar.  The exterior was in serious need of cleaning and re-staining.  It had not been maintained; and, had a significant amount of mold staining and several areas of the trim had the original finish peeling off.

We contracted with Mike and Crystal to prep and re-stain the exterior of our home.  Throughout the process, Mike demonstrated thoroughness, competency and responsibility.  Mike and Crystal took personal responsibility to ensure they delivered a quality product.  Mike kept his commitments and did not compromise his work product even when faced with the stripping process taking more time than he expected.  He completed the project per the schedule he committed.

Mike demonstrated a high attention to detail in the finishing process and ensured the project was completed to my satisfaction.  The home looks beautiful...we could not be happier.

I solicited bids from several paint contractors and evaluated several before selecting Mike.  His pricing was very competitive versus several other contractors; but, I never observed where Mike cut corners.

I would definitely recommend MIke's Painting and will plan to use Mike again when we have painting needs.
