  Our fireplace wouldn't draw well and we needed a vent placed for our clothes dryer. Mr. Guypens came out and assessed our job within two days of our call in the middle of a snowstorm. He returned within 4 days and completed the job on budget and in about half the time he had estimated. The fireplace has worked well and we have used it several times a week since the repair. The dryer is in an awkward place in the basement. He discussed all of the options for the vent with us before the work was done. The vent now exits the house unobtrusively behind a bush and we can use our dryer. We are delighted with the work and recommend his company to anyone looking for chimney repair or a dryer ventshow more

  They did some minor roofing repairs and found that the chimney had deteriorated, the top row of bricks were missing most of their mortar.   When we added a porch years ago, the contractor never got the new roof around the chimney right. He came back twice to repair, but couldn't fix it permanently. I tried someone else - no luck, a couple months later the leak was back. Travis was our fourth try. I have waited this long to write this review to be sure the leak is really fixed. It is!! What I liked about Travis is that he told me up front that he could fix it temporarily for a lot less money, but agreed with me that "if you're gonna do something, do it right".   Travis and team did an excellent job. He is trustworthy and professional. He treats your house like it is his own. 24 windows were replaced as well so the entire work took 2.5-3 weeks. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished project. The outside of the house was basically gutted and replaced. We are getting complements every day regarding the beautiful paint job and color of the gutters.I would definitely use him again and will recommend his services to anyoneshow more

  Travis called me back within 30 minutes of me emailing him to set up an estimate, that was impressive. I was looking for someone to re-roof my Mom's home (I Live in Alabama) while it was possible I could not be there I was looking for someone with a good rating here and there rating was tops in the roofing category. The price was within a reasonable distance of others without the high rating and we agreed on a price and a work order and they set a date. He provided my Mom with some samples that allowed her to pick the shingles and then the work began. There was a bit of decking that had to be replaced and some siding and painting on the chimney and they handled all that with the crew on hand. I was not able to be there the day of the roofing and Travis went above and beyond to keep me in the loop as to the progress. They were there when they said they would be they used a quality dimensional shingle and replaced all the vents and boots and painted them. The job was done the same day it was started and the roof looks great. I would highly recommend Travis and His company, Kee Roofing and Home Improvement, to anyone and will use his company again in the future if we need some work doneshow more

  We purchased an old house with a new roof and chimney. There was a leak around the chimney which the roofers blamed on the chimney and the chimney guy blamed on the roofers. The roof was under warranty and the roofers made a sloppy "repair" by slapping some caulk and tar on the chimney. We got second opinions from another chimney company and Kee roofing and both agreed it was the improper/incomplete installation of moisture guard/flashing around the chimney. We were in for a series of big storms and the original roofers were unavailable. Kee was so professional and courteous in their initial evaluation that we decided it would be better to pay for them to do the job correctly than fight with the original roofers for a half a** fix under the warranty. Kee came out in a timely manner and completed the job in one day. The job included 1) reshingle and flash chimney 2) replace roof decking 3) install moisture guard 4) also fixed some issues on our garage free of charge. I got home from work late and at our request Travis Kee came out personally to review the work with me and waited patiently while I saw to the dogs. The workmanship was tidy and precise and the materials used appeared to be of high quality. We feel the money was well spent in that there was a timely, permanent, and very aesthetically pleasing repair and that our possessions are now safe from the elements. Mr. Kee is relatively new to Angie's list, but I anticipate that he will continue to accumulate many positive reviews. In summary, A+ highly recommendshow more

  I was originally quoted by another contractor who came out to give an estimate on the work. I was shocked by the high price and angry when informed that I owed $60 for the estimate, which I was not told before the estimate was done. (Calls to three other contractors verified that those three and presumably others do estimates at no charge.)
