He suggested, since there are several casement windows in the living room and adjoining dining room that a breaking glass sensor would work better and be more cost-effective than alarming all the windows. He did alarm a door that the previous company (inherited when we bought the house twenty-three years ago) had not considered significant. He took the time to make sure I knew how to use the system, so I am very pleased with the service. My one caveat: I was told that the motion sensor would not register my smaller pets (two cats) because they weigh under forty pounds. They must have set off the sensor, though, because the police responded. The system certainly alerts the authorities, but that motion sensor is very sensitive!

"I would say that I wasn't really impressed with it. There were certain things about the service that I wasn't aware of like half the channels, you have to pay money to see those. It's a pay-per-view basically and the guy wasn't all that friendly when he came to the door. He seemed kind of put out, basically. It's like he just didn't want to be there so my first impression wasn't very good."
