As a local member of the community, I have been in the construction industry for just over 10 years. With experience ranging from general construction needs, to light electrical, and plumbing I have the knowledge it takes to complete a job on time and with excellent quality. \n\nWhy pay more for a large contractor to provide you a simple service when you can save money and have some peace of mind knowing a local member of the community is taking care of your needs and providing exactly what you need.

"Awesome workmanship, makes sure everything is done correctly. Will do add ons for an additional charge. He is good at fixing someone elses mess ups. He sticks to his estimates before starting. I am very happy with his work and I will not go back to other handy men."

"Devin with Gerber's Home Handyman was AMAZING!! He was very prompt at reaching out to us and getting us scheduled. My grandma needed help with having her bedroom TV mounted to the wall and he got the job done quickly and efficiently! My grandma even asked if he could help with a few other projects that she had been putting off and he was happy to assist. She's very happy with everything and has recommended him to all her friends at church!"

"Kasey came in on Sunday to fix our kitchen sink plumbing. After the great work he did, we hired him again to fix a step in our basement. He cleaned up after himself both times. He was honest about fixing items that would be too expensive to fix and be better to buy new. Overall, we will definitely be hiring Kasey for our future handyman projects."

Pros save time and ensure quality by handling complex tasks and repairs efficiently.

A handyperson can perform a wide variety of home improvement and repair projects. Common jobs include painting, cleaning gutters, assembling new furniture, and replacing fixtures like cabinets or lights. They can also handle more complex tasks such as installing a dishwasher, fixing minor plumbing leaks, refinishing wood floors, and replacing doors. Generally, a handyperson is ideal for any project that does not require a specific license or certification, such as those related to major plumbing, electrical, or structural work, which should be handled by a licensed tradesperson.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.

A handyperson is the professional term used to describe professional fixers who can tackle a wide range of general home repairs. Some pros may prefer to use the term handyworker, handyman, or handywoman, so we recommend politely asking your pro how they would like you to identify them during the project.
