"When no one locally even responded to my inquiries for a quote, Michelle got back to me the same day with a quote and description of how the repair would be done. It's a slight downside to have to ship one glove coast to coast for a minor repair on one finger. But the cost of shipping and the repair is much less than purchasing another $100 pair of gloves! The repair took a little longer than anticipated, but shipping time had to be factored in as well. Michelle was very prompt with communications during the process. Cost of service below did not include shipping which was about $16 round trip. The glove returned good as new...well as good as it's pair. The glove is two years old. But the seam was totally resewn and reinforced. Michelle stated she did not want to the issue to happen again. I hope it won't. The problem started with my fingers rubbing. Very happy with the service from Premier. I wish they had a shop in Maryland!"

Mattress Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To effectively clean fine dust after construction, start by dusting high surfaces like ceiling fans, walls, and window sills, allowing the dust to settle. Then, use a vacuum with a HEPA filter on all surfaces, including furniture, carpets, and floors, making a second pass for thoroughness. Follow up by mopping hard surfaces with a damp mop to capture any lingering particles. It's also important to clean appliances, vacuum HVAC returns and supply vents, and replace the air filters. Properly ventilate the home to help clear out remaining dust, and avoid sweeping, which can spread the dust around.

If your popcorn ceiling has noticeable cracks, you may want to have it checked by a professional before cleaning it. Adding any moisture or disturbing the ceiling may worsen the cracks, so find out if your ceiling needs to be repaired by a local contractor before cleaning.

Cleaning the walls before a paint job is essential for a flawless paint job, and doing the prep work yourself may cut your total costs. Use a mild detergent mixed with warm water and a soft cloth for the application. You’ll need to allow plenty of time for the walls to dry before painting, so aim to wipe down the walls 24 hours or more before your painter arrives.

The safest way to clean painted walls is to use a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution—usually a 1/2 cup of white vinegar in 2 cups of warm water—on a damp cleaning cloth or sponge. Wring out the cloth or sponge after dipping it in your cleaner. Attach your cloth or sponge to the end of a dry mop head to help you reach the height of the ceiling. Gently scrub in circular motions from top to bottom to avoid damaging the paint.

You can clean your bathroom like a professional by keeping your cleaning tools and products organized and having a cleaning plan or routine. Most cleaning pros start by dusting and sweeping first and applying cleaning solutions. You should let the solutions sit in your bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet, and wipe everything down with fresh cleaning cloths. A final mop gives the finishing touch.
