"The crew was professional, efficient, and did an amazing job. My garage and screened in back porch look amazing. I do a lot of work in my garage and these floors will stand the test of time. The crew even helped me unload a few truck loads as I was moving into the house. They went the extra mile to make sure my wife and I were happy with the floors. The epoxy is beautiful, the crew was great, I highly recommend this team!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Perfectly. I have never seen any work crew work as hard and diligently as Mr. Hernandez and his employees. The finished stamped patio not only met our expectations, but far surpassed them. Whenever we need concrete work done in the future we won't think twice; we know who to call."

"It went fine. He responded promptly and did a good job. Then I paid, and I never saw him again--and he still needed to clean up and finish, taking apart the brackets around the area where the concrete was poured, cleaning up the roots they'd chopped up, and so on. When I called about it, he said he'd be over, but when the time came, he said was in the area, but couldn't find my house. After calling back and forth, he said he still couldn't find it, (keep in mind they'd been here several times already doing the job) and said he'd get back to me, and he didn't. I texted him a map, photos of the house, the street sign nearby, but nothing for almost a week. Then I got another call saying they'd be over "today or tomorrow," and that was a week ago and the last I've heard."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Concrete is extremely porous. Without a proper sealing, it will absorb just about anything it comes in contact with, including water and ice. During the colder months with freeze-thaw cycles, this could cause the concrete to crack and become damaged in other ways. You always want to seal your cleaned concrete surfaces after they’ve completely dried out.

Epoxy and polyurethane sealers can last five to 10 years, while acrylic sealers last two to three years or more depending on the use, wear of the surface, and type of sealer you choose. Areas that see heavy traffic or extreme ice and snow may require more frequent sealing. Test your concrete every two years to gauge how it responds to absorbing water or if it fully repels it for longer than 20 seconds.

Unlike paint, concrete stain won’t peel off. Instead, the color absorbs into the surface of this porous building material. While it doesn’t peel, the stain only penetrates the top layer of concrete, and as the top of the concrete eventually wears away, so will the stain. However, this process is much slower than paint peeling, especially on low-traffic surfaces.

DIY is possible for small areas. Professional installation ensures proper leveling and finishing for durability.

Unlike staining concrete, painting concrete often results in chips and peeling over time. You can expect numerous touchups over the years if the concrete is in a high-traffic area. Since concrete paints are opaque, you may also find it more difficult to get the exact color results you want. Lastly, painting concrete can make it much more slippery unless you mix in an additive for traction.
