"These guys seemed very professional at first, on time and ready to go. Poor leadership - agreed a deal to specific terms in which they could not perform, had to do over 3 times. So much wrong with the job than I can write - kept using my electrical, tripping breakers ( interrupting internet ), didn't know how to blend the flakes from trying to repair their mistakes, didn't grind flat as it was sold to me. It was supposed to be non-slip because of the pool, it was slippery, had to do over and they didn't lay down the rhino grip in a proper way, just threw handfuls and looks blotchy. Sloppy sloppy work, see pictures of flakes in the grass and were everywhere. Burned my new grass with the generator and chemical solvent. 2 days turned into 11 days of my patio area being dismantled ( outdoor kitchen plus more ). They even got epoxy on my garden hose. It was a horrible experience especially from being very excited at first."

We've been creating dream outdoor spaces for our clients across the Lowcountry since 2020. Our owner and founder, Charleston native Tyler Prowell, continues to lead our professional team.

"We would give zero (0) stars if that was available. We were extremely frustrated and disappointed with Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction and now appear to be out over $16,000.00. We hired Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction for a backyard project and ran into numerous issues. We paid a partial deposit of over $27,000.00 in August 2022 for upfront costs and project materials and work started October 2022. A privacy fence was built, our backyard and patio were excavated, and a drain pipe was installed between October 2022 and January 2023. So after 15 months of limited to no progress, limited communication, and a variety of excuses; we had to terminate the contract in January 2024. Upon termination, Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction stated via email that he would begin the process of returning the over $16,000.00 balance due for work that we paid to have done but he never completed. We have not received any of the remaining $16,000.00 to date. We have attempted numerous times to contact Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction, along with our attorneys, but he has not responded to any form of communication. We now have to hire a different contractor to repair the damage to our backyard and complete the project."
