He repaired/replaced five small (3' by 3') drywall areas in the house and re-taped the drywall in the garage. in the process of all of this work, he saw a couple of other problems and repaired them too. It took him 4 workdays to complete, and he was flexible to allow for a couple of days in the middle when we weren't available. He did not hurry the job, and was careful to let the mud dry completely before sanding and putting on the next layers. Also, the price he quoted me at the beginning of the job, $1000, was the price I paid. He did not add anything on for the other corrections he made. Result is these repairs are the smoothest finished areas in our house."

Took out a wall between kitchen and dining room and added a load supporting beam. Moved an electrical switch and receptacle. Painted all the interior ceilings, trim moldings, casings, and walls. Removed all old flooring, prepped sub floors. Leveled the floor at kitchen and den. Installed new laminate flooring throughout the house and transitions where needed. Installed baseboard and quarter round moldings throughout the house. Installed four new ceiling fans. Repaired and raised a dip in the garage ceiling, primed and painted the garage ceiling and walls. Installed new lighting and electrical receptacles in garage and utility room. Quality#1!"

"They have not started on the project yet. They are coming as soon as the paperwork goes through for payment. Both companies gave a good presentation. I looked at 3 things. Presentation, assessment of work to be done, and cost. Cantey was too expensive. They were pushing for a piece of equipment to be buried under the house which I did not feel I needed because there was no water. The walls and crawlspace were dry. The one thing Mount Valley said that sold me was they wanted to put insulated treated boarding (forgot what they called it) on the walls and plastic over all of that, which is what I was thinking about. The difference in price was $9000. That also helped with my decision. I will write a review again after it is over. I was going to have 3 companies come and give me a price and how they would proceed. But I was very impressed with Mount Valley. Ask me again in 3 weeks."
