The quote was fair a d Stephen said he could knockbot out for us the same day. I agreed he mowed the lawn a d did a great job, sent me pics of the work as I was at my job, we sent the payment over. "I hired Hernandez Landscaping & Tree Service to remove 5 of the largest pines trees I’ve ever seen from my yard. They also cut down a huge messy oak tree and a 2 large sweet gum trees. They finished the job in just two days (Friday & Saturday) and were very efficient. They returned a 3rd day just to make sure all of the debris was removed and the yard was safe for mowing. I will hire these 5 guys again! Their equipment did no damage to my yard or my septic tank. I want them to come grind the stumps next week! They will beat anyone’s quote to get your job done."

A tree can grow back from its stump, but full regrowth is unlikely (especially for more stubborn conifer trees). Instead, trees are more likely to send up a number of shoots from the dead stump, which will try to develop into primary stems over time. In other words, it will start to look increasingly bushy. The goal of killing and drying out a tree stump is to prevent that from happening, as well as make the stump easier to completely remove.

It can take several weeks for the ground to settle after removing a tree, and the soil under larger, more mature trees can take months. The deeper the tree has been ground under the soil, the longer it will take to settle. However, this extra depth can help you plant new landscaping sooner because you’ll have more space for fresh soil.

If you’re looking to rot a tree stump fast, potassium nitrate will work far quicker than copper nails. First, drill several holes into the stump using a power drill, then pour potassium nitrate pellets into the holes. Next, add water to help the chemical absorb into the wood, thoroughly soaking the stump to ensure the pellets dissolve and spread evenly. Afterward, cover the stump with a tarp to retain moisture and block sunlight, then place mulch on top to secure it in place.
