"Our technician, Joseph Willis, did a fantastic job at explaining the process and then following thru. The end result of the leveling exceeded my expectations and Josephâ s crack repair and sealing was the best Iâ ve seen in 30 yrs of home renovation."

"Greg and his employees did an amazing job!! From start to finish it took three days and if you had saw our crawlspace I didn't think anything could be done. Our crawlspace went froma dark, dank, moldy, snake infested, armadillo incubator to a space that is as clean and seems as hygienic as a hospital operating room. I would not go anywhere near our crawlspace before and now have no issues crawling anywhere I want or need to go under the house. they even went beyond by adding some lighting and fixing our airhandler so it didn't drain under the house anymore. I highly recommend Greg and his team at Crawlspace Doctor to turn your space into what it was meant to be."

"They arrived on time, were professional, and cleaned everything up nicely. Since yard work had not been done for awhile they had to do more at this visit. They didn’t ask for more money though they definitely deserved it. So far I’m happy with my choice to hire them to do monthly maintenance. They are insured, but not bonded. I think that is fine for routine lawn maintenance."

"Troy and his team performed a seamless installation. Very professional, efficient and tidy. I’m pleased with how everything turned out and how well the gutters have performed with the past few rains. I highly recommend and would have them come back if I ever needed them again!"

"They are very professional and friendly. Removed the old cultured marble and old shower floor with no mess. Install new shower Cement Backerboard walls and waterproofed the shower before installing the marble. Installed the new shower floor and drain. Tiled the walls with 12 x 24 marble from Greece. Tiled the floor and perfectly cut and installed the granite shower seat. Installed white grout on walls and floor. Installed grab bar for safety. Installed shower head and shower valve trim kit. The complete shower was done 1 day early and at cost. They also installed 4 new water valves on both vanity sinks. It is a piece of art. Exceeds all our expectations. You can tell from their work that Customer Satisfaction is their goal. We will use Rocco Custom Remodeling for all of our future projects. Very highly recommend."

French Drains questions, answered by experts

If you're dealing with a clogged sink drain, you may be able to avoid removing the drain by using a plunger to dislodge the clog. While we associate plungers with toilets, they can do the same job with your sink drain. Be gentle, though, as forceful movements can push clogs further into your plumbing system and make them more difficult to remove. Additionally, make sure you’re using a sink plunger—with a flat bottom—and not a toilet plunger—which has a smaller bottom protruding from the larger flat piece.

Yes, flushing a clogged toilet can make it overflow. While flushing the toilet may push enough pressure through the system to dislodge the clog, this is unlikely. Your best bet is to use a plunger and hope the suction can break up whatever is blocking the pipe. If this doesn’t work, use a plumbing auger or call a pro to help.

The P-trap (or S-trap in older homes) under your shower is designed to prevent sewer gas from coming back up, so you shouldn’t normally experience foul odors coming from your shower drain. If you do, the vent stack that introduces air into your plumbing system may be clogged, or you may have a more severe sewer main blockage. In either case, hire a plumber to fix the issue for you.

Bleach isn’t likely to help unclog a sewer line. Bleach isn’t useful in this situation because it won’t dissolve the grime and debris in the clog. Instead, you want to use ingredients that will have a chemical reaction to clear out the buildup, like vinegar or salt and baking soda.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.
