"Jerry reached out and contacted me right away, was able to schedule quickly. He called to remind when he was on the way. When Jerry was here, he checked out the carpet, he explained what he could do, then he got busy. It's cleaning. I was very pleased that he took the time to give extra attention to some stains we were having reoccur to make sure that he got them out. It might be possible to wash your couch upholstery, but we don’t recommend it. Couches labeled with a “W” or “W/S” on the tag might be okay to wash gently with a couch cleaner or a homemade couch cleaning solution, but you have to be very careful not to get the padding underneath wet, as it will deteriorate and potentially ruin your couch. You should hire a professional upholstery cleaner to guarantee a safe, deep clean for your favorite furniture items.

If your usually super soft couch feels crusty and rough after cleaning, it could be that you haven’t removed the cleaning product properly, you used too much, or you applied the wrong type. Always check the couch tags to select the right cleaning product, read application instructions carefully, and test on an inconspicuous corner. For fabrics such as microfiber, you can soften and fluff crusty fibers using a soft-bristled brush.

To remove pet urine stains and odors from a microfiber couch, first blot the area to absorb as much liquid as possible. Then, generously cover the spot with baking soda and let it sit for a few hours to absorb the odor before vacuuming it up.
