"Called Max and set time for initial review of project.  Max was very prompt and arrived at time to meet. Max gave valuable insight and suggestions. Max's quote on the driveway work beat the competition. I had another company ready to handle the culvert work. After speaking with Mr. Brazell , I ask him to quote culvert work as well. I went with Max on both the driveway and culvert work. Max stayed in constant communication via email or phone, and always replied in a prompt manner.
The construction work went according to plan and Max communicated every step of the way.
My new driveway looks great. I had a potential water runoff issue but Max's team did a superb job of sloping the drive so has never been an issue even in the recent downpours in the area.
I am well pleased with Choice Home Builders and am expecting to utilize his services again in the future.

"Very well! Matthew our assigned project manager was very thorough and respectful. He kept our property guarded! We had a few people pop by the house to "check" things out and he respected our home. He called to see if these people were allowed on the property. He and I traveled through the house where he showed me how the work was being conducted. He also showed me problem areas. And explained throughly how it would work. There were about 5 guys working in the dead heat of July! where days it was almost unbearable. I was onsite 2 days here and there where I provided beverages and popcicles to cool off. They were able to complete the work a day a head of schedule! Now that we're into November. He only reaches out to others that have a similar mindset as his. They are responsible, respectful, and do the job right. He stands by his work and he does communicate. He does large and small jobs. Todd also spent a half day drilling through the granite on a relief for my husbands' parents. He had to take the bronze to get it trimmed. As busy as Todd is, he took the time because he knew how important how these family issues are. This was way out of what a normal contractor would do and now the relief is up and it is beautiful. That's just the kind of person he is. He has been maintaining our property for the past 7 years. He does everything from replacing doors, sheet rock, refinishing cabinet doors, or has access to someone who can do it. If the rental properties needed to be painted, either inside or ouside, he did the work."

"The quality of the work performed was excellent. I am very pleased with the appearance of the replaced section of my driveway The front steps now look as good as new, as well. The cost exceeded the initial estimate, but I have to give them a pass on that, as there were some real surprises during removal of the old concrete (no grade preparation was done for the original driveway, just concrete poured over uneven ground, so in places it was 4" thick, and in others about 12" thick, making removal very difficult). Carlos Concrete did a good job with leveling the site and placing stone over the ground before pouring, and that should result in a better driveway long-term. My only reservation was a delay in removing the tree roots excavated from the site before pouring the new driveway section. They were professional and friendly."
