Our business offers everything from New construction to renovations of residential and small commercial projects. Our building license covers residential and up to $350,000.00 for commercial projects. We are fully bonded and insured. We have over 20 years experience and have a clean record with no legal filings. We have a crew that is instructed to respect the residences that we work for by controlling language, noise, and level of cleanliness. It is our goal to create your vision for your home and go beyond your expectations. We follow all codes strictly and will take the extra measures to ensure proper weathering, insulation, and longevity of the structures we build. We subcontract very little. We believe that we can better guarantee our finished product by being involved in as much of the project as possible. The Builder and owner will not only consult and plan your project, but he will be on every worksite doing and leading the work along side his employees. We feel that this is what puts us ahead of the rest. Our estimates will be very detailed so that you will know what is included. This can help you compare our pricing with other estimates. This also can help you add, eliminate, downgrade or upgrade items to fit it into your budget or vision. We usually ask for a deposit of 20-30%, before work is started, that will cover materials to start the project. Your will be asked for percentages throughout the project as work is completed. Each job is unique. We can offer payment either directly by check or through PayPal. There will be a 3% charge added for the use of PayPal.

The steep slope of an A-frame roof withstands high winds, heavy rain, and heavy snowfall, making them popular all over the world. A-frames also offer simple, quick construction. Finally, an A-frame typically has large windows on the non-roof sides to let in a maximum amount of natural light. Consequently, they are often an affordable building solution for the right homeowner and location.

In most states, you can build an in-law suite on your property as long as you follow local building codes. However, it's important that you have enough space on your property to accommodate the new structure. A functional in-law suite in your backyard will require between 300 and 800 square feet of space.

Yes, home builders need to be licensed in every state and municipality in the country. The specific license required varies based on the location and the work, but most states require that the builder hold a general contractor’s license at minimum. Some states and cities also require that plumbing, electrical, roofing, and sewage system construction require individual licenses, in which case the builder may subcontract the work. You can use Angi’s contractor licensing tool to confirm that the builder you’re considering holds all the proper licenses.

As long as you pull the appropriate permits to build your ADU, it will contribute to your property’s total livable square footage. This is even true for basement conversion ADUs despite the living area sitting below grade. Keep in mind that permanent improvements, especially those that add square footage, tend to increase your home value, which can affect your property taxes.

It is a good idea to check in with your local city and state regulations before committing to building a shipping container home no matter where you live. This concept is pretty new across the country, and many places won’t let you build one.

The International Code Council (ICC) offers guidelines for home builders on the safe use of ISO intermodal shipping containers repurposed as building components, which can be helpful to review when planning or designing a shipping container home.
