"Luis and his team arrived on time. He told them exactly what to do, they did everything perfectly (2 small trees were removed) and even cleaned up areas that were not affected by the tree removal. When they left and I went into my backyard to see the tree clearing, I also noticed that they had removed debris from my walkway, my back patio, as well as the affected areas--going the extra mile, If I need tree removal or tree trimming in the future, I will definitely call Paramount again."

"Fair prices, good customer service, work was very professional. I would definitely recommend. They removed shrubs and a large sapling, weeded and mulched all of my flower beds. If I ever need anything else done I will definitely call them again."

"Javier Ramos Landscaping LLC did a fantastic job installing the new sprinkler system. The newly laid sod was peeled back and the trenches were all hand dug. Javier put the system under the driveway without the need to cut it. It took Javier and his crew 1 day to complete the sprinkler system. The lawn was back to normal and no sign of the trenching exists. I would highly recommend Javier Ramos Landscaping LLC."

"David looked over my property and gave me a fair quote. He was very communicative and prompt with the quote. We decided to go ahead and hire him for the job. Great communication on when we could expect him to arrive. Took extra time to ensure what we still wanted was aligned with quote. Work was well done and efficient. Intend this to be a long term arrangement with David. Highly recommend."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Hazardous waste is waste that poses a threat to human or environmental health. This generally refers to waste that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, or reactive. To confirm if the waste you need to remove is considered hazardous waste, contact your local hazardous waste facility.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

Exterior paint contains a higher level of VOCs, which can be dangerous if you’re exposed to it for a long period of time. The good news is that paint’s toxicity reduces significantly once fully dried and cured. Do not keep open exterior paint cans in your home, basement, or garage, exposing your household to harmful chemicals over time.
