About us

We are Spence & Dave’s, your friendly neighborhood junk removal guys. We have a passion for people and making their lives easier by helping to declutter and destress. We work for a higher purpose than our own, to glorify God in all the work that we do! It all started in kindergarten, where Spencer and David met. It wasn’t until about 8 years later until they really connected and became the best of friends! Together, they have laughed and cried, led and followed, tried and failed. Together is the key word. God made people to be in community, to love, support, admonish, and point one another’s eyes to Him! Now they embark on a new endeavor: to serve Columbia, South Carolina and its surrounding areas with the best junk removal and moving services in the city… with a smile of course. We are on a mission to serve customers with humility and respect, bringing dignity, positivity, and simplicity to the junk removal process.

Spence and Dave's was the first company to reach out after I submitted the request through Angi. I spoke with Dave to confirm an appointment time and his team showed up on time and prepared to give us an estimate. Once we accepted their price, they removed our old furniture and junk immediately. We were very happy with Spence and Dave's service, professionalism, customer service and price. We will defintiely use them again in the future if the need arises.

Spence and Dave were my saviors today. I'm disabled with a chronic illness and had a lot of things I needed out of my house to make more room for my wheelchair that I have to use from time to time. They came out on my schedule and in 20 minutes they filled their truck with my old mattresses, chair, refrigerator and a bunch of junk in my shed. And they offered me an affordable price that was much less than everyone else I called. The customer service was phenomenal. When I had to change my appointment time with them due to illness, Spencer texted me often to check on me. I'm over the moon and HIGHLY recommend them for junk removal and moving services. Spence and Dave’s sent out highly trained people to help us with every step of moving our furniture from a second floor apartment. They took extra precautions with valuables and fragile items and allowed me to work with them to ensure everything was placed right where it belonged!
