"Things went fine. I liked the idea of removing the drywall mud over the screws and replacing it. They used a hairdryer to dry it and everything. It was a great idea. I do think I can see evidence of where the nails are that I didn't see before, though. Not sure if I just never noticed that, or if the sanding was a little weak and the spots are visible where they weren't before. Well overall either way they did a good job. It is obvious that Jimmy the owner is concerned about the customer service his customers receive.

"I couldn’t be happier with the work done. it was professional, on time, and extremely detail-oriented. The drywall installation was seamless, with smooth finishes and clean lines throughout my home. They respected my space, kept the job site tidy, and completed the project right on schedule. What impressed me most was their communication they explained every step and made sure I felt comfortable with the process. If you’re looking for a drywall company that delivers quality craftsmanship and outstanding service, I highly recommend them!"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Yes, walls on the top floor can be load-bearing if stacked on the floor’s foundation.

If you’re looking for a reliable plaster repair company, you should start by researching local companies in your area and reviewing their status with the Better Business Bureau. Next, you can contact the potential companies to ask about experience levels, get a list of references, and ask for examples of past work. If you have a textured wall, consider asking if they have examples or references for that particular texture. This method should help you narrow your search even further. You may also want to ask each company if they provide a warranty for their work.

Most load-bearing walls are exterior, though they can also be interior.

The best tool for skim coating drywall is a skim coating blade, which can smooth out joint compound in wide stretches. While you could use a smaller drywall knife for skim coating, the smaller size means it’ll take longer to smooth out each section. Instead, consider investing in a skim coating blade for the quickest application.

Plaster ceilings can sag for several reasons. In some cases, the plaster and other building materials shift and come apart over time, which is why you’ll commonly find drooping plaster ceilings in older homes. Improper installation, foot traffic, and water damage—often from a leaky roof or a broken pipe—can also cause plaster ceilings to sag.
