"Russ was a pleasure to work with. He came in and completed exactly what we wanted. He did not leave until he made sure we were satisfied with the job. Glad we chose them to clear our property. He was also thoughtful to our yard trying his best to leave it intact as much as possible due to machinery used. All turned out great. Would recommend."

"We have hired Ryan several times for several jobs and are never disappointed. He has cleared several lots for us, done some tree trimming/bush removal and removed a huge oak tree stump from hurricane Helena which was not an easy job. The stump was still in the ground and was well over 5ft in diameter. He has also done some landscaping for us. He is always communicative, professional, and gets the job done quickly. Would highly recommend."

"First great work and great customer service! It's been a year since he redone my driveway and it has held up wonderful! Right after Eddie finished last year, we recieved over 5" of rain. He spent his own time that day in the rain watching how the water flowed. I couldnt have asked for better pricing or service! I would highly recommend Too Tall Grading!!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

When planning a land survey in Greer, consider local zoning codes, HOA guidelines, and floodplain regulations that may affect your project. Greer’s clay soil can shift markers over time, so choose materials accordingly. Rapid development and rolling terrain may impact access and accuracy. Also, be aware of historic property designations or water rights that could require extra steps before your boundary survey begins.

Helpful?

In Greer, schedule a land survey right away if you’re planning new construction, resolving property line disputes, or installing a fence near boundaries. If you’re preparing for a home sale or routine property check, you can often wait for the dormant season when foliage is minimal. Consider hiring a land surveyor in Greer during less busy months for faster scheduling and more accurate results.

Helpful?

For land surveying in Greer, keep survey stakes, bright flagging tape, and a sturdy measuring tape ready. A metal detector helps locate boundary markers, while pruning shears and a brush cutter clear sight lines. Store important documents in waterproof containers, and back up digital files. Gravel is useful for stabilizing markers in Greer’s clay soil, and a hand level can help with quick elevation checks.

Helpful?

For a smooth land surveying process in Greer, start by reviewing local zoning and property line requirements. Confirm your property boundaries and clear any overgrown vegetation along lines where surveyors will work. Schedule your project outside Greer’s rainy season to avoid delays. Gather any previous plats or surveys, and coordinate with neighbors if property lines are shared to prevent disputes or confusion during the survey.

Helpful?

The best materials for land surveying in Greer include capped iron rebar for permanent property corners and concrete monuments for high-visibility markers. Use heavy-duty wooden stakes for temporary marks in clay soil, and bright plastic flagging to highlight survey points. Waterproof field books protect notes, while GPS devices and reflective prisms help land surveyors achieve precise measurements across Greer’s varied terrain.
