"After extensive storm damage in the Spring, Scott responded very quickly to a request for an estimate. He also provided us with suggestions for a projected landscaping plan. The communication during this time and during the actual work was excellent. He and his crew repaired and extended a retaining wall and a parking space. They replaced sod and two trees and put down mulch. They also planted three additional trees in the Fall. Scott and his crew were all very professional and Scott took time to explain about care of the lawn and trees and make suggestions for future projects. We are very pleased with all of their work."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

The difference between a right-hand and left-hand storm door is where the handle is located. When looking at the door from the outside of your home, a right-hand storm door will have the handle on the right-hand side, while a left-hand storm door will have the handle on the left. Your storm door handle will be on the same side as your front door handle.

There are a few ways to make your storm door less drafty. For example, if the bottom of your storm door is letting in air, you can lower the door sweep so there’s a smaller gap between your door and the floor. You can also install weatherstripping or apply caulk around the door frame.

Yes, most installation services include the removal and disposal of old doors, which can include storm doors. It is best to confirm the specifics with your provider or installer.

While storm doors should be tightly fitted, an airtight seal can actually trap moisture in the space. This can lead to condensation and icing on your door. Ideally, you will have a tight seal that still allows for proper air circulation and ventilation.

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.
