Small jobs welcome

"Palmetto Lawn Service exceeded all expectations when they recently cut and hauled away my crepe myrtles and cleaned my gutters. From start to finish, their professionalism was unmatched. The team arrived promptly, fully equipped, and ready to tackle the job with a level of precision and efficiency that was truly impressive. Not only did they carefully remove the crepe myrtles without causing any damage to the surrounding area, but they also left my gutters spotless, ensuring proper drainage and a polished look. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality are a testament to their expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction. By the time they finished, my yard and home were in pristine condition. What truly set Palmetto Lawn Service apart was their exceptional customer service. As a veteran, it was incredibly meaningful to see a company that values and respects those who have served our country. The team was courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the results. Their expertise in both yard work and gutter maintenance shows their versatility and dedication to excellence. I would highly recommend Palmetto Lawn Service to anyone in need of top-tier lawn care and home maintenance, especially fellow veterans. From one veteran to another, this is the company you can trust to deliver outstanding results with the utmost respect and care. Thank you, Palmetto Lawn Service, for a job well done!"

"I absolutely love this company! I contact Eleven 11 due to I was unable to maintain my home due to I was completely on bed rest my entire pregnancy. Khadijah & Marquis were so attentive to detail. Every visit when they came their energy was beautiful and made me feel so comfortable with having strangers in my home. They asked exactly what I needed to be done and gave me a great estimate. They were wonderful people and helped me beyond words can say while I was unable to clean and care for my home the way I wanted too. I used their services for my entire pregnancy and until I moved out of state 2 months ago. I wish that I can have them to come clean my new home they are the best company Iâ ve ever worked with. While I was pregnant I was unable to tend to lawn care and contacted a company to come estimate my lawn. Marquis was the guy!!! I so happen to be asking him for recommendations for lawn services and he looked at me and said Ms.Martin we got you! By the time I came home from a doctor appointment and saw my yard I was in tears by the beautiful work they have done in side and outside of my home. If you are looking for a Company that has all of your in home and out home needs and make you feel like family and not a customer Eleven11 is the best company. My family and I highly recommend."

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

It’s possible to use a torch to melt ice on your garage door, but we don’t recommend it. It’s very easy to bring the flame too close to the door, which can melt the weather stripping or even the garage door itself. You’ll melt ice quickly with a torch, but the damage you’re likely to cause can end up costing you a few hundred dollars to fix, which isn’t worth it. Instead, we recommend pouring hot water over the frozen area or using a less intense heat source, like a hair dryer or space heater.

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.

Whether or not an annual snow removal contract is worth it depends mainly on location. If you live in an area with frequent heavy snowfall, a yearly contract could be better than paying per clearing. If you live in an area where it only snows a few times a year, paying per snowstorm may be a better option.

In most cases, it’s worth it to pay for professional snow removal. You can shovel the snow yourself, but it’s very labor-intensive and puts you at risk of injury or illness by performing exhausting manual labor in slippery conditions. Paying a professional removes that risk and saves you time and energy. Depending on your agreement, you could wake up to a cleared driveway and a car that’s ready to drive rather than have to get up early to do the work yourself.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.
