"Professional and respectful. We have had our new mini-split system installed for months now, and we love it. It cools our Carolina room and keeps the whole house comfortable. The whole crew was great and came back to put in the wifi adapter that was in backorder, and left everything neat. Stacy was incredible and helped us through the whole process. We plan to use them again if we ever have the need for any services that they provide. Thanks, Stacy, and all at ARS!"

"Mgr Jeffrey offered free estimate next morning. Had two outdoor hoses were unable remove from hose bibs; were seized on. afraid needed new hose bibs! BG sent tech Joseph Lopez who was professional, knowledgeable & personable. After assessing bibs advised cost for removal of hoses and/or to install new bibs. i gave the go ahead to do his best to remove hoses! noted he consciously covered his shoes when coming through home from front to back yards. He patiently & carefully tried a few removal methods including the spray/wrench we had tried. He was finally able to remove them by carefully using a hack saw! He also installed a new hose connecting part on ea bib w/new threads that are guaranteed 2 yrs. It was third of the price new bibs would have cost! We so appreciated the extra conscientious efforts Joseph Lopez made to repair the hose bibs giving us excellent results at economical price! Thank you! again, we are very happy satisfied customers of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing"

"Our water heater started leaking and we knew it had to be replaced. I requested quotes from homeadvisor and they responded immediately and had someone out to look at the job at 9am the next day. They gave me a decent price and said they could have the new one installed in 2 hours. They were fast, courteous and affordable. I would recommend them."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

In Conway, plumbing work can impact electrical systems, especially in older homes where pipes and wiring often run close together. If you notice flickering lights when using water or changes in HVAC performance after plumbing repairs, these could signal a connection. Before starting a plumbing project, have a local plumber inspect shared walls and check for any signs of moisture near electrical panels or HVAC units.

Helpful?

Conway homeowners are choosing low-flow toilets and showerheads to conserve water, along with tankless water heaters for energy efficiency. Whole-house water filtration systems are popular due to local hard water concerns. Many opt for smart leak detectors to catch issues early. Outdoor showers and corrosion-resistant PEX piping are also trending, reflecting the area’s coastal lifestyle and need for durable, low-maintenance plumbing solutions.

Helpful?

Upgrading plumbing in Conway offers immediate benefits like improved water pressure, reliable hot water, and fewer clogs. Long-term, modern fixtures and pipes reduce the risk of leaks, help prevent mold in the humid climate, and can improve water quality. These updates also boost your home’s value and make it more resilient to local weather, especially during heavy rains or hurricane season.

Helpful?

Conway’s humid climate means even minor leaks can quickly escalate. Watch for musty odors, damp spots on walls, or persistent low water pressure—these often indicate hidden leaks or pipe corrosion. Gurgling drains and slow water flow may also signal sewer line issues. Addressing these early with a professional plumber helps prevent costly water damage and mold growth common in SC homes.

Helpful?

In Conway, schedule plumbing work if you notice water stains, rusty or foul-smelling water, frequent drain backups, or visible pipe corrosion. Homes over 20 years old, especially those with original plumbing, benefit from regular inspections. Spring and fall are ideal for major updates, while post-storm checks are important. Rising water bills or an aging water heater are strong signs to call a local plumber soon.
