Jim returned my call within an hour or so, and gave me an estimate right over the phone. He is knowledgeable and honest, and I paid what was quoted. Jim and his son replaced my 19yr old water heater within a few hours, got me up to current codes, answered all my questions, and made sure to cover the manufacturers warranty as well as his own labor warranty. Couldnt be happier with their workmanship, and will definitely keep their number handy for any plumbing needs. Thank you!!!

Honest, efficient, professional service at a very fair price. I could not recommend Jim Meyers Plumbing any more strongly. I initially contacted Jim for a second estimate on replacing my water heater. I had a different plumber come by earlier in the day on a service call to evaluate a leak was told it needed to be replaced. Jims quote was over 40% less than the other company so I went with him. He his son arrived promptly at the time we had scheduled, planning to replace the heater. However, within 30 seconds his son had diagnosed the ACTUAL issue which was a leaky fitting not a failing heater. The whole repair was done within the hour and cost around 10% of what I was told I would need to spend to fix this leak when my day first began.

Jim was very responsive, thorough and did top notch, high-quality work. He and his son showed up early and completed the project the day I called.

Jim called me right back on an early Saturday morning. He was on his way to my house when he called just to give me an estimate. He was very patient and explained everything that needed to be done. Very professional. Had the job done in about 2 hrs. Would highly recommend him.

Jim and his son showed up on time and began to get the home ready to receive the new water heater. Then Marty came with the new water heater and the three of them removed the old one from the attic and installed the new one in a very efficient manner. We were very pleased with the service and the quality of their work. I would certainly recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing work done. Initially I got quotes from the big box stores for lesser quality water heaters at considerably higher prices. Then I found Jim Mayer on Angie and learned quite a bit about the quality of the water heaters themselves and the quality of the folks installing them. Sure am glad I didnâ t just take the easy way out and buy from the big box stores.

I canâ  t say enough about my positive experience. Jim was wonderful to work with. Marty, installer, went above and beyond. He even did a courtesy check on water pressure. Jim and Marty were thorough and fun to work with. They explained everything and was very reasonably priced.

Jim Meyers is a professional through and through. He explained job then commenced doing it. We had a broken water line and Jim repaired it in quick order. Jim also corrected a problem with an under size pipe that caused our washer to leak. Jim's price was good and both jobs were completed in quick order. We will contact Jim for all our plumbing needs.

A real professional here, highly informative, quality work and you'll be hard pressed to get a better price. I highly recommend this company 5 stars from start to finish!

Jim was fantastic for my project in Davidson! Thorough, professional, friendly, and prompt. I had some weird plumbing fixes needed from a home inspection report, and he was very generous in problem-solving on the fly. I will definitely call him again for all future plumbing repairs. Excellent, fair pricing.

Had a water main break- emailed 4 recommended plumbers at 7:50 am. Jim Meyers called at 8 am, agreed to come at 10am. A neighbor came to help me turn the street valve off(the water company said their tech would be there by 7:30- did not come till 9:45). I dug a little besides the driveway where the water surfaced, Jim Meyers came at 10 promptly, dug deeper and under the concrete driveway and found a broken connector where two pipes connected- faulty crimped connector from original plumber/builder. Not only did he fix this, but looked at my hot water heater (10 years old), diagnosed the heating elements as faulty, and replaced them. A less experienced service might have cut up my concrete driveway to trace the leak. I highly recommend Jim Meyers-prompt, efficient, and experienced. (The Charlotte Water Co- no show for 2 1/4 hours.)

Great experience overall. The price to replace my water heater was on the lower end of the appraisals I received but his warranty was by far the best around. He was professional and on time on the day of service. He explained everything he was doing and answered all questions I threw at him. I called Jim Meyers because my water heater died. He was there within hours with a new heater. He installed & cleaned up (which some contractors don't do) very quickly & the price was unbeatable. I'm also a Realtor & he has worked on several of my client's homes. All have been extremely pleased with his work. I would give 10 stars if that was an option. Great communication, professional & just an all around honest guy.
