"We replaced our bathtub with a walk in shower, and are extremely happy with the work that was provided. In only took one person 6 hours to complete the job, and he was very professional and the quality of work was great. Would hire them again."

"From start to finish everything went smoothly. Frank was very patient with me as I searched for the tile color I wanted. I kept him abreast of my progress locating the tile and once I was purchased I let him know the approximate delivery date. Once the tile was delivered, Frank and I coordinated the installation schedule via text, which worked perfectly. I purchased all requested materials ahead of time and had the bathroom clear and ready for his arrival. The morning of the installation, Frank texted me to let me know he was on his way, arriving as promised a few minutes after 8:00am.
He and his worker went right to work, breaking only for lunch. They laid down tarps to keep from soiling my carpets as they removed the toilet and mixed the thin set concrete and grout. Once the floor was down, he replaced the toilet rehung the door and wanted to vacuum floor (this I did not allow him to do, because I was going to do it later for the entire house). When he was finished Frank hosed off my porch, drive and yard where some grout and thin set concrete mix had spilled.
This morning I looked at my floor and I love it! The job turned out great. I have let Frank know that I will be calling him later this year for another tile project that I want done. He has advised me on how much tile I will need to purchase and I hope to start that project in early 2016.

"I found a particular granite color I liked and shopped for the best price. The first place I looked was Angie's List for fabricators of granite. Imported Stone was not the lowest price, but the high reviews received on Angie's List convinced me that they should be the ones to install. Tom Waite came out a few days later to create a template and discuss replacing the small back splash that we had with the Corian. He also brought some color samples because the color I selected, Napoli, was hard to locate. We did not like any of the color samples so he suggested four granite warehouses to look. I found the color at the third place I looked, and called Tom. He arranged for the granite to be delivered to his shop and would have the granite installed the following Friday. They came as promised and did a fabulous job. Imported Stone also matched the lowest price I found."

"They had to come back and correct some issues a second time. They replaced a freeze resistant faucet outside with a regular one and that was not acceptable so we had them come back and the shower faucet continued to leak after they had "fixed" it. After they came back to fix the work we hired another company the next time we needed pluming work done."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.

Installing a bathtub can be complex, depending on your prior plumbing experience, the type of bathtub you’re installing, and whether you need to make any changes to your bathroom’s plumbing. It’s advisable to leave this job to the pros, especially if you’re new to the world of plumbing.

Persistent leaks, outdated styles, or surface damage are indicators for a replacement.

The order of your bathroom renovation should prevent damage to the completed work. Start with demolition and removing the old fixtures. Then, address structural repairs or water damage, if needed. Next, tackle the rough-in phase for plumbing and electrical work, install waterproofing, and work on wall treatments like tile or paint. Install your shower or bathtub, toilet, vanity, and sink. Flooring goes in after major fixtures but before the toilet. Lastly, install new lighting fixtures, mirrors, and other finishing touches as desired.

The most common type of tub is the alcove; most bathtubs are shower and tub combinations. Many suburban homes feature these as the default option because they allow the flexibility for users to take a bath or a shower—a notable benefit for those with pets and young kids.
