"The floor refinishing was fine. Where we had issue was the laying of our glass back splash. I feel we needed somebody more in tune with this kind of delicate work. I keep finding cracks and bad cuts. Hopefully this will be resolved as I picked this company based on the great customer service philosophy"

"I hired Refloor to come back and do my basement too. The installation was delayed due to stock shortage but the floors are in and they are beautiful. I hired my own painter to stain the moldings to match the floors. The floors look so much like real wood. Great job!"

"The new finish is BEAUTIFUL. The floors look better than when they were new! The old finish was a traditional, semi-gloss, golden oil-based finish. The new one is matte, more transparent/colorless water-based finish. Had a couple spots on the final coat, they came back no questions asked and corrected. Very professional and always on time. Vinyl floors last between 10 and 25 years on average when you care for them and protect them against water damage, though higher-quality vinyl can last longer.

If your vinyl flooring has heavy wear and tear or if it's peeling, it's a good time to do a reinstallation. Other signs your flooring is nearing the end of its lifespan include bubbling, heat-damaged planks or tiles, and discoloration.

If your floor is still sticky after mopping, chances are you used too much or too little of the cleaning solution. Using too little won’t get all of the grime off, but using too much can leave its own residue. Refer to the cleaning solution’s instructions and dilute it as directed.

Vinyl and laminate flooring can have a similar life span. Both well-maintained laminate and luxury vinyl flooring can last up to 25 years. The exception is the thinner type of vinyl flooring that comes in sheets and lasts less than 10 years. It’s important to note that vinyl is waterproof, whereas you can ruin laminate if it absorbs too much moisture.
