He returned my call that night and came out the next day to survey the problem. Determined my 40 year old septic system needed new field lines. Brought his crew the following week and performed the work. I was outside with them the whole time. When the lid was removed, he asked when I had the tank pumped last-it had been pumped 6 months earlier by another company and their faulty equipment prevented them from doing a proper job. We decided that while doing all this work, now was not the time to pinch pennies, so Ronnie had his pump truck come out to pump the tank how it should have been done in the first place. After finishing up Ronnie dug up part of the old line and replaced a section to try to get that line to do something, that was not part of the original job and he just did it on his own. These guys worked like a crew that had been together a long time, and they have. Truth is, I originally pick them because I saw one of Ronnie's pump trucks around town, and it looked new. Funny as it sounds, the last company that came out to pump the tank (about 6 months ago) had a truck that looked to be falling apart (rusted and dilapidated) and they couldn't pump the tank properly because of it-so I was at least going to get a company with good equipment this time. I was well pleased with Sellers. Ronnie called back and came to the house when he said he would, and did a good job in a timely manner. I definitely recommend him. He came into the home; talked a very good game. He came back with a very documented proposal which indicated he may know what he is doing. He also provided a list of references; which again indicated he may know what he is doing. He also provided pictures of previous work; which did not look bad. So I called one of the references which provided me with a satisfied rating. So I said OK. He stated work very well. I could not complain. After the start, it went down hill. A friend of mine told me afterwards an initial good start is called "Striking the Nail into the Coffin" Gives you a sense of well being at the start. I paid for all the supplies. He picked them up at Home Depot. That is another think he likes to mention that he is a "Home Depot Pro". He has no connection with Home Depot. The initial tear down went well. He re-installed the shower board, then started with the tile. That is when it went bad. He and his crew (which consisted of himself and one other person) stared cutting tile by hand with a tile blade attached to a drill motor. I should have said Good Bye at that time; but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wrong Again. They got the walls up; which at the time did't look too bad which was without the grout. Then he put in the floor; BIG, BIG Mistake. The floor was uneven at the start which I thought he would straighten out before placing the tile down. No he did not even the floor out. I had left for a couple days; I came back to the most uneven shower floor in the city of Tampa, state of Florida, country of USA and possibly the entire world. He finished the grout; then you could see the lines are out. Not by a lot; but enough to wonder why I used this person to start with. Bottom line do not let this man do any TILE work for you, It is a waste of time and money. Instead of a beautiful shower; after each use I have to use a squeegee to remove the water from the floor to keep it from leaking . Multitude of communication errors. Final price quite higher than estimate due to incomplete plans and we finally drew up the plan and measured on our own, then submitted for work to start. They came earlier than agreed, but it turned out ok as far as schedule. Work was quite good until final...

Their crew showed up on time the day they were supposed to be there. There were enough people and they had all the stuff and equipment that they needed. They got right to work and installed the fence. They were pleasant guys to work with. I think the best part of the company is the customer...

FAQs for concrete finishing projects in Andrews, SC
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of stamped concrete is around $12 per square foot, but you might pay anywhere from $8 to $28 per square foot. The average 12-foot by 12-foot patio costs $1,730 on average. Your exact pricing will depend on the patio’s square footage, the condition of the area where you want to pour the concrete, the desired stamp pattern, concrete coloring, concrete grade, and local labor prices. Don’t forget to budget for extra costs like land preparation and additional concrete fortifications if necessary.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
It’s possible to create stamped concrete yourself, but we don’t recommend it and it’s often not cost-effective. It’s easy to mess up the pattern of a stamped concrete patio or walkway, leaving you with an unsightly home exterior rather than the elegant solution you wanted. Any mistakes made during the ground leveling and concrete pouring process will also increase the risk of cracks forming on your concrete. Additionally, buying enough stamps to get the pattern in before your concrete cures can cost as much as hiring a professional to do the work for you.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
