He came and did all the prep work to install and installed the floor.

I was very impressed with the availability and punctuality, and professionalism of the service. I called early that morning and found out they were booked solid for two weeks and I wanted to get my floor done before Christmas. That afternoon he called back and said he had a cancellation so he did not have anywhere to go, so he just up and came by my house on demand and did the job the same afternoon. He was very patient and kind, and knowledgeable and took time to answer a lot of questions I had about the floor refinishing process.

I made a mistake with my initial review. It was Steve and Pat that refinished my floors, not Chris. Chris was my initial contact and removed the carpet. But it was Steve'steam that transformed my floors.

Chris is an expert at refinishing hardwood floors!! The floors are beautiful , i am so glad we found his company. He and his wife Donna were so nice and helpful.

They did a magnificent job. They came right away and quoted us. They started in the next week. They moved our furniture. They talked about different stands and finishes and they even made registers to match the wood out of wood. They came back a couple of days later and have moved things back after the floor dried. I've been telling everybody about them.

Did tons of research to find a hardwood solution for my concrete slab
home.  Priced several different contractors and felt that Chris at New
World had a fair price. However what impressed me the most was his
knowledge and what would work best for me.  We ended up going with with
engineered unfinished wood which was installed and finished on-site. 
The floors are beautiful and I couldn't be more happy with not only the
results but with the service as well.
Would use them again in the future.

They are excellent. A friend of mine recommended them because they did a great job for her. I feel the same way about them. They are very professional and do a wonderful job. They are punctual, work with you, come in and do what they say they are going to do, and I cannot say enough good things about them.

New World Floors was very nice to work with and very professional. I have not had any problems on the area they fixed. I wished I had reviewed the other company's listing on Angie's list as I never would have hired them.

The owner actually came with his assistant to do the installation instead of just sending his "guys". He made sure the correct products were supplied and used. Very good and pleasant  communication with his office manager. The first company had to pay for this repair since it had been over a year and they still could not fix the problem.

I had contracted with another contractor to paint the inside of home, move furniture to container, that I had rented, to rip up old carpet and refinish floors by sandidng and putting 3 coats of polyeurethene on floor and moving furniture back into the house.  Well the other contractor known as Floor Pro (Richard Brandon Smith), he only half painted the walls and did very little on the floors and didnt show up for 3 days.  I called New World talked to Chris he came out one Monday 4-25 gave me a price and agreed to help me get everything finished and back in place.  He and Steve started that afternoon and got my floors finished by Friday 4-25.  Then they came back on Monday May 2, 2011 and put the furniture back into the house for us. THEY WERE LIFESAVERS FOR US.  We appreciate them and they work very professionally.  If anyone needs for me to give them a reference I will be glad to.  Sondra M. Hayes

We called, asked for a estimate. Our call was quickly returned and an estimate scheduled. The price was very reasonable and we scheduled the job. The house was empty, so there was no furniture to be moved. The first day they sanded the floors. They cleaned up after themselves and did a professional job. The second day they put they put the refinish on. The floors look wonderful. The also patched holes that the previous owner had used to run cable through. They did an excellent job and we are very pleased with their work
