They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "

"I spoke to Steve Petrucci of Pease Co in early March 2017. I was very impressed with his presentation and advice and the Pease product. I had appointments with 3 other sunroom reps and said I would be in touch. Two were clearly out of the running – too much flim-flam!! The third was very laid-back and from the brochure, his product looked fine. And was much cheaper than the Pease room. I signed a contract with him on April 3, and by Oct 6, when the only thing that he had done was to rip up my deck and leave me with a gaping hole, I cancelled the contract (see [*** Link removed ***] complaint of 11/28/2017 for details if interested).I called Steve and said I had made the wrong choice and would like to have a sunroom from Pease. I said I would certainly not expect it before spring. Steve came out and reviewed the carnage and said that if the weather cooperated they would do the best they could to get my sunroom built before Christmas. And they did!! It was amazing. The team came out and went to work and a week later I had a sunroom. And one that was infinitely better than the one I would have gotten from the other company. Taller walls (8 ½ feet vs 7 feet!!, four large windows on the front side instead of 6 small ones, integrated gutters, etc) I am SO pleased!! The crew were delightful – professional, polite and knowledgeable. I cannot say how delighted I am with my new sunroom. I would unconditionally recommend Steve and the Pease crew to anyone wanting a sunroom. As an added “bonus”, when the crew was attaching the roof of the sunroom to my roof, they told me that my existing roof was in very poor shape and I should keep an eye on it. I called three roofers for estimates and was told by all three that I needed a new roof “ASAP” (I had only recently bought the house and was told the roof was 9 years old – it was – on one side, but not on the back, which had also been installed incorrectly – without underlayment!!). So you can see, the Pease crew is not in there “to get it done and get out”, but that they have the best interests of the client in mind. I really appreciated that – who knows when I would have discovered it otherwise!"
