"Marilyn and her team were GREAT! We had a lot of clutter in our house. Some people would say it was a "Hoarders Paradise" minus the food and garbage. Marilyn and her team helped us with a "to do" list to start. She helped and guided us on what needed to be stored and what we could keep in the house. Marilyn and her team helped us to pack up everything. She spoke with our young children about what toys and other things were important to them to have at the house and how and where they could be kept for viewings as well as what could be stored away and not be missed by them. Marilyn and her team even helped us to take things to storage. And trust me, we had a lot! Marilyn also helped with staging our house for sale by using some of the things we had as well as bringing in some of her own things. The house was listed the week before the Open House so that people had a chance to view it and we held our first and only Open House that Saturday. By Monday we had multiple offers and the house went well above asking price."

Customers say: Quick response

"Charlotte was a god send on preparing a listing for sale for my clients. She patiently explained the benefit of staging to the homeowners, who graciously gave her free reign in their home. Using their own furniture and a few new accessories, she updated the decor and made the house so appealing to so many buyers! We had multiple offers within the first few days on the market and it was in no doubt thanks to Charlottes work! The transformation was incredible!"

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.
My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

In Warwick, RI, homeowners should align their inspection routine with the local climate. Spring is ideal for checking for salt or moisture damage from winter storms, while summer calls for monitoring humidity and sun fading on staged décor. In fall, focus on gutter cleaning and updating curb appeal for the real estate market. Winter requires ensuring safe walkways and adjusting lighting for shorter days, keeping the property inviting year-round.

Helpful?

In Warwick, most home staging projects for vacant properties take two to seven days, depending on the home’s size and whether outdoor living areas are included. Occupied homes may require extra planning to coordinate with residents’ schedules. Seasonal demand, especially during the spring real estate market, can extend timelines. Waterfront or historic homes may also require additional time for specialized staging to address unique features.

Helpful?

In Warwick, staging for cosmetic issues focuses on fresh paint, modern lighting, and updated décor to appeal to today’s buyers. Addressing functional concerns means emphasizing organized storage, clear room purposes, and showcasing updated systems like heating or insulation—important in older or coastal homes. Local trends often favor open layouts and energy-efficient features, so staging highlights these aspects to boost both visual appeal and property value.

Helpful?

In Warwick, home staging professionals often select modular furnishings and neutral finishes that can easily be adapted or removed when renovations occur. They highlight unfinished spaces—like attics or basements—to showcase their potential for future expansion, and use layout strategies that help buyers envision room additions. For historic homes, staging demonstrates how modern upgrades can enhance property value while preserving original architectural details.

Helpful?

Warwick properties can be complex to stage due to historic architecture, multi-level layouts, and proximity to the waterfront. Coastal homes require materials that resist humidity and salt air, while older homes may have unique floor plans or limited electrical access. Flood-prone areas and seasonal accessibility can add logistical challenges. Appealing to a diverse real estate market—from families to retirees—also requires thoughtful staging strategies tailored to local buyer preferences.
