"They were super quick to respond, squeezed me in the same day, and completely took care of the hornets nest on my porch. A couple of phone calls, and the problem was resolved before I even got home from work. I thought the price was very reasonable, especially given the immediacy of the response. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quick, easy, quality work from competent and caring professionals."

"Anthony fully inspected the exterior and attic of our home and though he found evidence of the squirrel being in the walls and attic, he felt that the squirrell had vacated the house as a bird had now taken up resIdence in the space where the squirrel had gotten in.. He explained that the bird would keep the squirrel from returning and that he didn't feel we needed to spend any more money on having him set a trap. We are having the house sided soon and so he knew that the hole would then be repaired . He was very honest , professional and nowledgeable about all types of pests and we learned a lot. We feel fortunate to have met him and would call him in an instant for any future pest problems.

"couldn't be happier with All-Pro Pest Control! The pricing was very affordable and straightforward with no hidden fees. As a local business, they truly understand the pest issues specific to our area. Their knowledge of local pest behavior made a huge difference in how quickly they resolved my problem. The technicians were professional, courteous, and incredibly flexible with scheduling. They genuinely listened to my rodent concerns and identified the root cause rather than applying a generic solution. Within just a few weeks, my issue was completely resolved with minimal disruption. I also loved their modern technology - text messaging for reminders and digital payment options made everything seamless and convenient. If you're looking for a pest control company that combines local expertise, professionalism, and effectiveness at a reasonable price, I highly recommend All-Pro Pest Control!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Technically, yes, chinch bugs can fly. However you won’t usually see them in flight. Chinch bugs like to stick close to the ground and they usually move around by hopping or crawling (which is why they can be hard to see). Since they don’t get much chance at flying, they’re pretty bad at it and only fly for short distances—like to nearby yards.

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

Several skin conditions and insect bites can be mistaken for a tick bite, including mosquito bites, spider bites, chigger bites, and even allergic reactions. Tick bites often start as small red bumps, which may develop into a bullseye-shaped rash if Lyme disease is transmitted. However, similar-looking rashes can result from conditions like eczema, ringworm, or hives. Without a visible tick, it can be hard to confirm the source, so it’s best to monitor the area for changes and consult a doctor if symptoms like fever, fatigue, or worsening redness occur.

Seeing a rat or two isn’t uncommon, especially in mild climates. That doesn’t mean they are actively a danger to your home. The problem is when you start seeing rats regularly in your yard, there’s a good chance they are also looking for ways to get into your house or other buildings. All they need is a small hole or gap, and they have a new place to nest -- which is bad news for you. Stay cautious if you start seeing rats in your yard all the time.

Heat is the most effective instant killer of bed bugs. Exposing them to temperatures above 131 degrees Fahrenheit for over an hour can eliminate them. Methods like steam cleaners and using a dryer on high heat are effective for this. Other options that can kill bed bugs on contact include EPA-approved pesticides, bleach, disinfectant sprays with alcohol, diatomaceous earth, and hydrogen peroxide. While freezing can work, it is not an instant solution, as it can take several days at 0 degrees Fahrenheit to be effective. Keep in mind that many DIY treatments won't reach bed bugs hidden in cracks or behind walls. For severe infestations or the most effective results, it is best to hire a professional exterminator for a professional heat or chemical treatment.
