"After meeting with Joe (Robert) for an initial assessment of what was needed to bring my attic insulation up to code. There was only 6” of insulation in the attic. We scheduled an appointment for the work to be done. RJL showed up to do the job as agreed and they did an excellent job. We already notice the difference on the second floor if my house. "The technician who came was a pleasant, competent professional who examined the unfinished attic to evaluateit w/r/t insulation only or insulation as part of a full finishing of the space. He took measurements and scratched out some information on his pad.. I told him that I intended to review my options before any decision. I offered payment at that time and he told me there was no charge for this service. It struck me as odd that he told me that what I had agreed to pay $19.00 for was actually free but I asumed billing would accompany an actual report/proposal. A month on I've never seen anything like a report although I have been charged via credit card for the inspection service. Perhaps the report-recommendation is still on its way? "Richard and his team did a great job resolving my issue.  Richard was prompt in responding to my initial request for information.  He called me within a few hours of receiving the note that I sent to him via Angie's list.  We spoke first thing the next morning and quickly scheduled a visit.  Richard not only shared his expertise to explaining what he thought the problem was and how to resolve it.  He also pointed out that I may have coverage via my homeowner's insurance, something I hadn't considered.  He called his insurance expert on the spot and gave me advice on how to handle a claim.  Richard came out to meet with me and the underwriter and helped me get through that process.  He started work very quickly thereafter and had the entire project done within a week; plumbing, drywall, painting and all.  I'd use him again for any future work I need done."
